Hi Lily, as a newcomer to the hobby I have been experimenting with pen sets and papers and have found the Stabilo 88 and Staedtler 334 fineliners excellent for the more intense mandalas with the triplus and the 323 felt tips for the larger areas which I think is the outcome you found and show here. I also scan my Kleurboek pages to a sheet of 140gsm recycled seawhite of Brighton paper which I find excellent for fineliners plus the books are so nice I don't like using them (I know I am nuts). For Johanna Basford or that style of book I use the Brutfuners.
I have some Ohuhus and some cheap copies for sale soon as I find they bleed (spread) into areas next to it of a detailed work.
Well that was long winded but as an aside thanks for all the videos and encouragement.
I know what you mean about the tins. I have two Stabilo tins (pencils, obvs) and I tend to get rid of the packaging but I simply can’t throw those tins out. They have a very simple, old-fashioned design.
Give me a cardboard package any day; recyclable and no desire to keep!

Hi Janine! Do you mean the new Ohuhu ones? They do look interesting. They seem to be more expensive than their older water based markers. Lindsay The Frugal Crafter reviewed them a week or so ago.

You know that thing you have with pens and markers and stuff? I have that with coloured pencils 😂
Luckily pens are my first love... maybe I’ll move onto pencils when I grow up 😂
