    I hope you get well soon. Becky. Warning: There may be more loose nails and screws surrounding your renovations. Stray nails often fly away when doing the roof and exterior. You have young kids. Get a magnetic sweeper rake, and rake your yard.

    Putting cattle in with young trees is a major problem. If they aren't eating them they are rubbing against them and destroying the bark. This can go on for many years.

    Hi Justin ,can you humour an Irish granny 76yr old ,I was born and reared on a 26 acre mixed small farm .and even though I enjoy watching you and the family on your farm ,I wonder why don't ye make permanent fences deviding your pasture into separate fields with gates leading from one to the other ,it would save a lot of time and energy and avoid all that hassle of moving electric fences so often , please answer me .oh and we were 7 children and mam and dad .

    To be honest, I have fruit trees and I can't imagine why you wanted them in the same space as livestock. It's hard enough to grow good fruit, now you also have the animal pressure on the growth.

    Cattle problem solved Looks real nice with the wrap around electric fencing a real Savanah look with the wrap around electric fence . Easy to pick fruit to. nothing like being bound and determined . Picking fruit from the trees will be an easy chore to , and good for extra exercise with the large distances between trees . well thought out Justin

    Underground propane tanks have a special anticorrosion coating to help extend their lifespan and they can last between 20 to 30 years on average, depending on the soil type and whether the tank was installed properly.

  • @embracingourlife191
    @embracingourlife191 5 місяців тому

    I wondered if you can extend you squares to be much bigger… giving the cows a harder time to reach them as the trees get bigger. You could use what you already have to make the squares double the width saving money on cattle panels. The fencing and t posts could get sufficient if they cant even reach the trees on each side. Then lay weed barrier and straw or hay over that to help with the weed/grass plant some fruit guild perinnaels like comfrey and it can keep the mousture in on the dry months.
    Just hope you find a way…you have encouraged so many. I hope this encouraged you some

    Maybe y'all can make the protective fencing around the trees farther out and stronger after you move this group of steers out so you don't have to worry about it and you will have room to get inside and trim and mulch. Fix it and forget it. Lol. Good luck!!

    When I was 10 or 11, I stepped on a piece of glass that went nearly through my foot. It became infected and painful. My mom got an ace bandage and a chunk of salt pork. That night it was impossible to sleep! I stayed up all night cleaning the bathroom, kitchen and living room. Then I emptied the linen closet, refolded all the sheets an towels several times and completely organized it. By morning my foot was no longer red, was pain free and back to its normal size. I just had to keep it covered until it closed from the inside out.

    I worked for a propane company and they never painted their tanks dark colors, because I’m the winter the propane didn’t come out as well with them painted dark. They painted them white to attract the sun to warm up the tanks, so that may be another reason they shouldn't be buried, plus if you had a leak propane hovers on the ground. Just the electrical ignition starting a vehicle would cause a huge explosion.

    • @TheNashBurger
      @TheNashBurger 5 місяців тому +7

      You've got that backwards. If it's painted white it would stay cooler because the white reflects the heat away.
      Dark colours absorb the heat so would heat the tank up more.

    • @cassandrathatsme4382
      @cassandrathatsme4382 5 місяців тому +5

      That is NO solution. It will only work until it doesn't, meaning one day they may forget to turn the fence on, or the fence will be broken through, or the animals breach the fence. Once the branches start spreading, the animals.will eat what they can reach and pull the tree forward. They need much better fencing and have not prepared to have fruit trees other than liking the idea of having them. I hate saying any of this because I do love the channel, but the effort to protect these trees so far is like watching a car wreck coming that you can't avoid. They will probably have 5 more videos of fruitntree protection because a flimsy fence can only work when everything lines up perfectly all the time. And nothing is perfect all the time.

They lived all over the world and would slip way deeper into their Appalachian roots when speaking to or around Appalachian family. I do it as well when around someone with a heavy Southern accent, or when I’m upset, I slip right out of my city girl britches and on into my Southern lilt. Could just be Rebecca had been speaking to the contractors prior to filming that clip and (consciously or unconsciously) slipped into a deeper accent.

      You are 100% correct! I was up to date on my shots when I was 9, stepped on a crawdad skeleton and got tetanus. Shot did absolutely nothing for me. I was treated with antibiotics. We were on vacation and had to see a doc out in the middle of nowhere, kind of an emergency as my foot and entire leg was bright red! Veins sticking out. Went to nearest pharmacy that didn't have children's antibiotic, so I was prescribed adult and had to learn to how to swallow horse pills. Tried chewing the first one and boy oh boy I will NEVER FORGET that taste! I Swallowed the rest.

      Please provide actual medical evidence for your claim or edit it to say that this is your belief.
      Even my homeopathic and naturopathic doctors said to stay up to date on tetanus shots.

      @@amyv8416 I think it's up to you provide a study showing the medical evidence that Tetanus shots provide ANY PROTECTION. I am living proof the shot did nothing for me, and antibiotics took care of my infection. Doctors work for the pharmaceutical companies. They lose their license to practice medicine if they don't follow AMA + CDC protocol. My niece and her husband both quit doctoring and now work selling drugs for Pfizer, their salaries were tripled. They were already making money hand over fist as doctors, but working for pharma was irresistible. The perks!

    Honey use aepsomsalts in a poltus and put it on the nail spot over night in the morning the bad stuff will be in the ragg. This worked on blood poisoning my brother had clear up to his groin from a dog bite on his ankle. By morning the red line was gone and the junk in the ragg was unreal. It will make a believer out of ya.😅😅😅😅

      A true tetanus shot does nothing after the fact, must be in system before. The ones they give nowadays can cause more harm.

      @@bellaloba2684Not true. Tetanus shot does not harm and it should be given within 48 hours after injury to have the best results plus a deep cleaning of the wound area. Everyone working in a farm should get tetanus shot.
