All musical pieces used herein - including "Jinxy, Tinkle & Mush" - unless otherwise credited in the titles or this text are composed and performed by by Foxx Wolf/dogsounds and used with permission - from me, because I composed, arranged and recorded them, and it is all original work ^_^

FYI, The kinetic energy from the Explosive bolts are what give the initial propulsion. And because Space does not have any air, there is no resistance, so the Escape Pod will just keep floating forward. Thrusters on the side just give translation for rescue mostly. :D (I like Science.)
Excellent! I suspected as much, and now you have said it that is entirely logical :)
Thank you for sharing!
You're welcome!
Want so badly , I always wanted to build the 44 with brass like the original, but this kit looks great . If you still have light leakage , silver is the best light blocker , I use aluminium tape, very cheap in any builders suppliers
Nope, I have no leakage at all, the glue and primer has hidden everything :)
good work..!
^_^
Oh gosh have been waiting the whole week for this intro.
An am I hearing it right did you sing "let's build" in one moment of the intro?
As always love your videos.
Thanks! At the start I am singing "Let's build this thing" ^_^
That title music is awesome! Was it you.....was it...was it?
Yep, all me, the only sound that isn't a mouth noise is the timpani, which is a biscuit tin :)
awesome video,again
just one problem,if you had carried on,and used the airbrush cleaning station as weight, that would have been better. because now i need to buy that gundam book you used to weigh it down.lol
ps are the books any good ?. i have watched the anime a bit,but i think i would prefer the books.
Oh, the books are beautiful, and go into a little more detail than the anime (they re-worked the story a little too). Definitely worth having, but IIRC there are about ten volumes ^_^
great intro, really love it ;)Is there not a problem that the glue go beween the moden and the tape and leave bad marks on the model?
The glue itself is a polystyrene weld cement so will not stick to the tape. if it does get squished a little bot by the tape, it's not a problem as all it does is flatten the glue bead a little over the joint. If glue does get anywhere else, like a big glue fingerprint or anything like that, it can just be sanded away with no problem.
What was with the raspberry at 23:28?
Ha ha, that is a sound effect from a previous video that snuck into the video template and remained hidden until after I had finished the editing and rendering (it's a balloon deflating lol ) ^_^
I had to rewind a couple times to make sure it was actually the video. ;)
I once watched a video where someone snuck in the USB disconnect sound. I would never suggest doing such an evil thing, but... :)
OH that is a deliciously wonderfully cruel idea, I love it :)
May I ask you something about the "sprue goo"? I started using it 2-3 years ago. I was amazed at the beginning because once cured it was "plastic on plastic" and so easy to sand perfectly. Then I noticed that after a few days it shrinks! To I add it again, sand it perfectly. And again after a few days it shrinks! Forever! I can fix everything with primer but I want to know if yours shrink too! But you have to wait a few days before noticing that because it shrinks very slowly.
Thanks!
I've not had any problems, maybe it depends on what glue you use, maybe not all glues are suited.
Oh! Ok. I used humbrol glue. I didn't want to waste my tamiya extrathin. Thank you. bye
Ah, maybe it is too strong and softens the kit plastic whilst it cures. It's worth getting an extra bottle of Extra Thin just to make sprue goo, if will last a looong time and save you buying fillers etc :)
I give you an hint! For my gunplas (that I never have time to paint) I create the "trasparent sprue goo"! Using only transparent sprues. It's perfect if you want to fill a gap without ruining the colour of the plastic (for kits that you know you will not paint immediately). You can use the trasparente glue on every colur..but it's not perfect. You always see a little difference in colour, expecially on the darkest plastics. Bye
Oh, that's a great idea. I will have to start collecting clear leftover sprues :)
I feel like I've seen this before. Is this a reupload?
Ha ha. no, it airs on this channel a week after it airs on eModels' channel.
That explains it! Hahaha!
Why not just not paint the outside until after it's all together? Seems like a waste of time and paint.
Maybe I misunderstand your comment but what I did was exactly what you just said - I painted it once it had all been assembled, in a future episode. What I did in THIS episode was simply prime the interior to both light-block AND black out the lower windows (which I explained in detail), and I had to take advantage of a day with nice weather to do that, no matter where I was in the build. As I also explained, I used rattle-can primer so it was just as easy to prime the exterior whilst I was there. Also the primer coat was intended as a guide coat for when I was sanding the filler (although in some spots I had to add the red paint to do that as there was not enough from the primer coat). Aside from the obvious reason to use a primer coat, one other purpose is to use it as a guide coat when sanding filled gaps.
