- Kubota tractor start up, it doesn't like any temperature under 15 degrees Celsius. A bit hard to start, last ran about 2 months ago.
I believe the battery is also a bit weak, even though charged.

Just a Tipp for next time push the gas a littlebit and then it schould run better and i have this problem quite often but when I push the gas it always gets on last time it was -1deagrees celsius and it just ran
Thanks for the tip, I no longer have this tractor as I sold it along with my house and now have a Massey Ferguson which can be even harder to start. I used to have a B7000 2 cylinder and that was a great starter, it started easily even without using the glow plugs.
The battery a little bit weak but there must be another problem.
There is no smoke when it runs : the engine and the injectors are in good condition.
May be check the glow plug ...
Thanks for the tip, I do believe the battery is a bit weak, though I started it last week without a problem, it has been warmer lately. So it may be a combination of glow plugs with a weak battery.
Just because you put the battery on a charger doesn't mean you are going to get enough cold cranking amps. A truck battery won't start my Harley when it's cold. I would look into a block heater, it is a diesel after all.
Yes I am aware the CCA can still be low even though the battery may be at the correct voltage. Though this was filmed in January during a cold spell that only lasted 2 weeks, the same battery is still in the tractor and working fine it gets started at least once every 2 weeks sometimes more so it might be that the glow plugs are not fully heating anymore therefore trouble starting when below 10 degrees Celsius .
