I love the parallelism between this fight and the herogasm fight, you can see that Stormfront and Homelander fly away who's fighting them, and they do it in the same way, the were practically defeated and then just ran.
Stormfront was definitely more on her way to defeat than Homelander IMO. Stormfront looked liked her hands were full with Queen Maeve alone, while Homelander required all three of them before the tide switched and managed to momentarily overpower them even from a disadvantaged position.

@@idonthavh1n166 for me she was hardly in this season never got to see her use her powers hardly throughout the seasons they kept her in that prison for 3/4 episodes and your lucky if she had about 5 scenes this entire season not including the finale . So yeah I think she was underrated as she saved everyone past 2 seasons and hardly got screen time or got to show the full extent of her powers .

Honestly the major difference is this scene feels earned. Every one of the female characters was someone we’ve followed the journey of and got to see them develop, with Avengers it was mostly side characters or female leads with minimal development which made it feel like “hey look at all our female characters”

Stormfront was such an amazing villain. She's probably my favorite villain, even more so than Soldier Boy. I love her menace, her confidence and sadisticity, like the female version of Homelander. 10/10 for a villain.

@@mindflayer55 Probably it may be true. According to various outlets all the scripts have not been completed yet, so filming will begin once its done. Considering the filming time for 8 or 9 episodes each of around hour long plus the post-production & vfx time, my guess is early 2024 release

I just always wish that Starlight was a bit more powerful and could actually blind people. That said, this show is awesome.
She probably can hell there's a reason she tells people to "shut their eyes" before she unleashes her power

I don't understand this. I have watched every episode of The Boys and I have came to the conclusion that Starlight's powers are about as effective as a flashlight. Out of the 3 seasons, I've never seen her powers do anything close to damage unless its retina damage.

Starlight's Damage output is High B+ in the show.... The problem is that uptil this point they've only put her against people with A+ Durability.... So that makes her seem very Weak in comparison
Stormfront is a 100+ year old Nazi here.... And she could easily take damage from Maeve, Annie, and Kimiko without it being a problem
In Season 3, Soldier Boy is the Ultimate Tank.... So even when her Damage output is the highest it is for any character at that point, it feels like nothing more than a nudge
I appreciate they are willing to commit to power scaling.... But once in a while they should give her someone weaker to clean sweep with so she seems actually strong, and not just like a light show

The only thing that holds The Boys back as far as superhero content goes is the visual scope of the action. The show is far too limited in the use of space and destruction. Otherwise, I like the smart writing of the show.
I agree. Amazon should increase it's budget given it's the best show. This was season two though, and we have seen improvements in season 3. The Lord of The Rings series has the highest budget ever for an show an amazon. Big gamble if you ask me. Should be the boys

I kinda like it. The juxtaposition of flashy, idealised, deified superheroes’ actual fights being messy, inglorious, ungraceful bare-knuckle brawls seems like exactly the thing the show is going for
Most of the show is fantastically written but I thought this was a bit crap. They spent the whole season satarising the patronising BS corperate of corperate "activism" like "girls get it done" then do exactly the same thing.
Don't get me wrong having a diverse cast is definitely something shows should go for (excepting where it doesn't make sense for the setting) but you should just have a diverse cast not scream your head off about it.
I'd say the expanse is a prime example of how to do it right. It had one of the most diverse casts ever put to TV but they didn't make a big deal out of it they just got on with telling an amazing story.

homelander is a fat better character, most likely the protagonist of The Boys, no way in hell Stormfront would replace him, specially considering she was around since the 1930s. She was a good character, but Anthony Starr as Homelander is 50% of the show.
Starlight did more in this scene than the entirety of Season 3 where all he she did was push Soldier boy back a few metres.

i think stromfront's powers aren't really thunder/electricity, because if it was ig starlight wouldn't flyoff like that and just absorb it as her powers whole premise is "electricity comes in, light comes out"
Difference between this and Endgame is that one shows Women being equal to Men, and Endgame being about Women being "Better" than Men, succeeding where Men fail. The Boys show that Girls can kick each others asses just as well as Boys can kick each others asses. More about equality and less about pandering.

Wow, what an ignorant view. The reason Endgame was bad was not that it showed women as being better than men (although the women in that scene are actually stronger since Scarlet Witch and Captain Marvel are both more powerful than any male character) but how forced it felt.
If you're offended by seeing women overpower men or be better, then you have serious issues. Common occurrence with incels like yourself.
Also, in this scene of The Boys in particular, the women ARE all better than the men. None of the men have the strength to handle the threat. They literally have no way of hurting her. So if your issue with Endgame is that it somehow made women look better but you have no issue with it happening here, you really didn't watch either scene. And using the reasoning that they were beating up a woman is especially sexist and idiotic.

Every time I see this scene, I wish it was longer, and Stormfront died.
Herogasm was the true finale of season 3 and episode 7,8 were just set up for season 4.
I still will never understand how they ALL walked out of that car without a single scratch🤣. And the ironic thing is they try to go for realitistic but that car being barely damaged plus no one was hurt...they call that a miracle or just movie magic😆.

Karen said that they shooted this scene in November in Canada and it was terribly cold. Dom (Queen Maeve) froze the most probably, but it is absolutely not noticeable. She is gorgeous😊
