nice job boys but get rid of the stainless, its a tinny sound anyway , the way to fix it buzzing fart would be to run twin 3 inch up to magnatune muffler and exit single 4 inch steel and hpc coated
The hardest part about exhausts is cold they sound different to hot. I’ve some that were raspy cold and sounded awesome at full temp. They also bed in which changes the final product dramatically every time. It’s very hard to judge an exhaust cold and new. The race is on for Australia’s best sounding Raptor exhaust.
What about a single 3 1/2 and then maybe go into twin after the diff or just go the single to the back and see how it goes 🤷♂️. Would be cheaper I would imagine
I think with this engine we may have to accept its inherent VN ness.. Either that or Ford could have put a Turbo Barra in it. Man, people used to whinge about Barras’s and their sound.. I6T’s sound hands down better than a V6 manga and don’t even talk about torque.
I think it’s cause it’s a 3.0 v6 and the only good sound is a F1 car you had an easier time with the other cause its v8 and they make a better sound based on cylinders and firing order
Try the trombone loop like what the stock F150 Raptor has to make the exhaust equal length headers. It'll sound like nissan gtr, 350z, 370z
Be good to see the raptor project you have now when it is done and the final product. Will be interesting to see.
Have you guys seen the SPD Trombone loop on the F150 Ecoboost?
That looks interesting. Would have been some serious r and d working that one out.
tubular turbo manifolds. dumps and cats into a Y piece. Then single pipe into a resonator and then split in the rear with mufflers?

We will keep playing with sounds but I do agree stainless is quite tinny. We will get there
Test 3 was the best sound. It half sounded like a v8. If you tried the 2/34 pipe it may be even better
Needs a trombone setup

Yeah we have done some heat cycles and are just being patient. It’s like 90% of the way there so it’s just little tweaks from here
@@meredithmetalworks can’t wait to see the next vids 👍🏻

Is the twin 3" too big ? Everyone doing these exhaust carnt get rid if that vn sound. Maybe 2 1/2 x-pipe in the middle and muffler at the rear 🤷♂️
I tried a few different sizes and the 3” gave a much deeper note/cut down heaps of ecotec

@@fordturbo6they’re twin turbo so you have to merge it anyway, and you also have to equalise pressure to stop the bad sounds

We are gonna keep at it till we smash it I think!
Man this seems tricky

Your not wrong there. But we do love a challenge! 👌🔥
I want my ranger raptor to sound like capristo or corsa exhausts 😂😢
Same. Sis
@@meredithmetalworks bruh
V6 problems, when they hit that honda vtec note 😢
Legit hey 😂
@@meredithmetalworks hopefully you lads sort it out
i do like the new raptor i wouldnt buy one just for the fact is sounds like a ve with a sports exhaust
Even the Manta system on these sounds shit unfortunately
😅😅
Maybe an exhaust, tune, injectors, intake and bigger turbo’s are the solution. Be fun watching either way.
No what a embarrassment or this business sounds worse than standard and that was bad enough
No
Okay thanks :)
