I think I understand why your sliding door is frozen and won't open. Warm inside and cooking a stew and cold out. Where warm moist air and cold meet there's condensation. In this case the rubber strip of the door. Put vaseline on the rubber strips before a winter so the doors will not freeze shut. 👍
We use wd40 on our patio doors to keep them from freezing. Living in Northern Wisconsin, I can say it works very well! Also make sure nothing blocks air flow to the door from the inside. Always slow air to flow around the cabin especially in front of your door 🙂

We just had our storm hit the day before Christmas Eve- Christmas here in Cleveland Oh. I was LOVING it!!! We haven't had any snow yet this yr and we're known for large amounts of snow but past couple of years we barely got any snow so I was praying for a white Christmas & bday I might add lol It was super bad here. We had a 50+ car pile up 4 people died and one was pregnant. Very sad. Day before Christmas. I wish people would listen when they said stay off the roads. We even had 70 mph winds. Glad we didn't lose power like so many others did. Happy belated Christmas and btw I need the beef stew recipe!!!!!

Wonderful work traveler,..fantastic how you have the van set up,..I love the fridge, you really have to be conservative, with how much you put in it, but there are so many non perishable that can cover what you don't have to refrigerate,..and so love the bed,..its all very accessible, and you utilize it well,..now, huh loved the way you made the stew,..and that's a hearty meal to have,..my mom, even though I could eat it any time of the year all year long, but she mostly only made gumbo during the winter months, now she puts three different meats, chicken, sausage (can be beef, or pork), and shrimp,..I had a neighbor who put beef tips in his, and blackened beans,..his rue came out dark, like the stew you made,..but mom doesn't put beef tips,..you can if you want, its cooks choice, experiment you know, the down home cooks in Louisiana put frog legs, chicken feet, huh when we went to New Orleans one time, a restaurant's menu had them putting alligator in it,..hmmpf,..not for everyone,..but for you,..you can just make enough for you, and maybe still have some left to put in a small Tupperware, to put in your frig,..huh or put it outside, where the driver's seat is like you didnthe strawberries, mother nature's frigid temps should keep it from spoiling,..and you can look it up, get recipes, online, mom makes a rue from boiling the chicken, the stock off that you know,.like the stew you made, it's hearty good, and we usually eat it over rice,...do keep going, so enjoyed tbe video, do be careful, and vigilant with your safety,..Godspeed, Peace ✌
I live in Tahoe area and since Christmas we've received another 10 to 15 feet of snow and another 5 feet this weekend!! I left Mt Rose ski resort 3 times recently and every car, SUV and truck had to dig out at the end of the day but my 2020 AWD Transit drove out with no problem. Safe Travels!!
Try using WD40 or silicone (lasts wayyy longer) on your sliding door seals. Use them on my car doors and it’s never failed. Silicone spray on my engine hoses according to my dad was the best thing he ever did. To this day my 03 Camry hoses are fresh as can be and look pretty good for being as old as they are

If that's going to be over 4 feet of snow I would be screwed because I am a little over five feet. lol Being a winter girl that is still heaven for me. I love winter camping. lol We do not even see that much snow and I am In New England on the East Coast. I grew up thinking Cali was all sun and hot weather. Facts we use cargo vans where I work and nothing like getting medical supplies and machines stuck inside. Lub the seals
I have heard alcohol will help too. I don’t mean drinking alcohol, but I guess it couldn’t hurt.

Just a FYI get a gallon ziploc bag for when you have left over raw bacon the entire package fits perfectly inside a gallon ziploc.
