Hey dude, I know this sounds crazy but I can still remember your West side story from a percussionist perspective many years ago, and it remains one of my favourite videos of all time. It really made me want to do musical theatre percussion, and I was lucky enough to do my first show about a month ago: legally blonde! What great fun it was. So thank you for helping me realise my love for percussion!
Dude mallet kats are so helpful on musicals I never knew I needed one till the recent musical I just joined. It makes equipment like timpani or vibraphone and xylophone become something to not worry about
Ugh... I love this show so much. You all are quite the orchestra too. Wish I could have heard it in the audience. Seems like it must have been a really nice full sound. Dang!
Did this malletstation file come from a website or did you make it yourself? We are producing Legally Blonde currently and the only file we were sent for percussion was for an SDS drum pad.
What software are using to control the mallet station? Also how do you link it to the speakers? I’m a percussionist myself and absolutely love your work!

not to mention its really cheap instead of paying above 20k for a vibe, timpani, Glock, piccolo xylophone, etc etc
The return of the king
I remember when we got a mallet station for WGI indoor season, and when it was theater season, total game changer. Had a DTX pad as well.

You’re back!🎉
What fun-Very cool to watch you play.
So jealous of this setup. Currently doing this with real timpani/vibraphone/xylophone and it’s impossible.

Great playing. Love the shaker in the beginning!

What do you think about the mallet kat? Have you used any different brands of electronic xylophones for comparison?
That's the pearl version of the midi mallet controller!
Where was this show? I ask because I vacationed by a theatre that was showing Legally Blonde and had just closed recently
