✰ How old are you? 27
✰ Where are you from? I'm originally from England but moved to Adelaide, Australia when I was 9 years old. I also spent 2 years living in Toronto when I finished high school which is why the accent is a bit all over the place 😅
✰ When did you get married? April 2022 - Навчання та стиль
This was so interesting! Looking forward to your Europe videos and how you break that all down! Thank you (as always) for being so transparent 💓
you're so so welcome! thanks lovely 💕
This was such an interesting break down! We’re currently working on a breakdown of our 15 months of travel, so it’s fascinating to see the differences in short-term and long-term travel.
wow! that's amazing!
Red eye flights- GENIUS !! Cheaper and doubles as a hotel. Definitely want to see the Europe bestie trip budget!
it was so helpful with keeping costs down! can't wait to share our Euro trip 🥰
Literally saving this video for all the hacks when booking our next trip!

Morning from Hawaii that was a good breakdown on travel on a 20,000 buget on this video

thank you! x
I will say for accommodation you guys were visiting some of the most expensive cities for hotels. I went to Boston last year and it was almost shocking but most nice hotels were $300-500 USD a night. I think when researching it said Boston is one of the most expensive for hotels.
a very good point!
Would love a vlog style planning video!
i've gotchu ✍🏼
Loved this. I would be interested to see your planning process and how you decide on which hotels, which airline and flight times etc to book.
I'll definitely document that for my next trip 🥰
Love this…. So helpful for my trip in September. Thank you ❤ I scored Fiji Airways flights for $1198 and I was stoked but man everything else is expensive 🤣🤣🤣
that's such an amazing price!! have the best time 🥰✈️
Thanks so much for sharing the financial breakdown! Sounds like you had an amazing trip. 💕 Off topic, but I was wondering how you view or think about the environmental impacts of travelling? It's something that prevents me from travelling more, so I'm always curious to hear other people's thoughts. 😊 Thanks!
we had the best time, thank you 🥰 unfortunately there's very few ways to offset the environmental impact of travel but we try and opt for trains when we can, bring our own water bottles, reusable bags etc. and opt for eco friendly tours/operators where possible! I would love to do a tour with Intrepid one day- they're B corp certified 😍🍃
This was so helpful Ella thank you!
🙏🏼
The tipping system is so interesting as an Australian! Do you know if it is a legal requirement to tip in the USA?
you're so welcome! not tipping isn't illegal but frowned upon. In saying that, they ask for tips EVERYWHERE. I saw heaps of people decline to tip at cafes, fast food places etc.
I am nosy and love travel!! I did contact co plenty a year or so ago and asked about a travel planner, I will have to grab one for sure. I am planning a trip to Scotland and hopefully a 4-5 days in London, likely be a couple of years away but I'll keep in mind to book flights in advance. So lucky you was able to check in to your hotel early!! I considered paying for the night before just in case I was wrecked and wanted some down time.
it's such a great planner! what a wonderful trip that will be 😍
Hey girl, I have a question! How did you input your total expense of travel into your Coplenty 2024 budget tracker to show that it had deducted from your Travel savings account? Have been trying to figure out a way to make this work cohesively in the budget tracker! I hope this makes sense, and thanks in advance!
Good to know about viator ! They came up for offers for tours in London and Edinburgh and Because I didn’t know them I didn’t book them ! Now I know ! Glenda. I have booked for 7 people two cities for 9 days … all flights Airbnb vrbo and tours / activities ( tattoo) and yeah $ money cash is flowing !!! BUT almost all will be paid for ahead of time ! Budgeting 30 k .., 😂food is a concern for 7 but we are trying to utilize the homes kitchens !
have the best trip!!
@@smileycitrus thank you ! 😊
With your Amtrak experience, did you have to pay extra for your luggage? Or catch a specific train? Or was it okay just to bring your luggage onto the main carriage? The information online is so confusing 😂
no we didn't! they have luggage racks in all of the train cars ☺️ it was super easy!
How much did you spend on tipping?
tipping was included in all of these transactions but we generally tipped 18-20% most places
Is that the paid version of wanderlog?
no! just the free version
Great video🙌 pls don't ever take your dog with you on vacation. I work at the airport and every day I see completely distressed animals that have trouble breathing or a literal anxiety attack because they were taken on vacation with the family and needed to be in the belly of the plane.
It just hurts the soul to see.
Also so many animals die in the belly of planes
oh I would never! she has it good with her grandpawrents 😂
Please vlog everything you book and plan for Europe! 🩷
i've gotchu 🙂↕️
I love Wanderlog! But I've never used it to it's full extent like it looks like you have, you have me motivated 🫡 did you use the itinerary list/function or just created your own "list" for each day?
just created our own list ☺️
