Ticino is just like Italy, the sun, the artistic scenery and the dolce vita but in Switzerland, so is well-mainteined, functional and more pricey (which drives away the hordes of tourists lol), so is perfect!

I did that road from Milano to Lugano with my parents 35 years ago. I went to Lugano 2 or 3 times. Very beautiful place and lake and wondeful memories (Swiss miniature at Melide).

I’ve been holidaying in Switzerland (frequently Lugano) since 1968, and this kind of video is a real joy to me. I’ll never tire of the country, more particularly, Ticino. Thanks for posting this.
i take it the road followed was the route of the original road North? A route for smaller cars, trucks and buses/coaches. Also looks like a Sunday morning early with all the cyclists.
