if I had a nickel every time drew said I want one of those in every park this video I would have two nickels which isn't a lot but its weird it happened twice
Glad you guys enjoyed this park. Lightning Run and Storm Chaser are such a powerful combo hell I'd argue this small park has a better coaster line up than some parks that are twice its size. Very happy this park survived and it's so interesting to look at photos taken when it was abandoned vs today
Great vlog and review! Interesting that thunder run was not that rough because I felt it was not that enjoyable of a ride when I went a month back. I totally agree with you about storm chaser being so forceful near the end. I also rode in the very back on lightning run and my goodness that airtime is insane. It is so insane on those last few bunny hills that it hurts. Lol magnum is a good comparison. Great job!
I live in Indiana, my grandparents lived by Six Flags Great America. The cheapest tickets for Great America were Season passes from Kentucky Kingdom. We'd go to both parks every year.
Love the video and want some ideas for videos for my UA-cam channel and want some tips on starting a vlog channel for me and Michael are going to Florida for Thanksgiving with his mom and maybe go to Disney land want to meet you some day
The free soda at Kentucky Kingdom was only in 2020 to try to get more visitors to the park. Before that, some ticket options included free soda, but not all. If you ever get a chance to ride T3, do not subscribe to the group-think mentality of coaster youtubers. T3 is legitimately a good ride. I think it's the 3rd best coaster in the park. It's slightly shaky. Honestly, Kentucky Flyer is rougher. There's a reason why T3 is one of the more popular rides among park-goers, because it's actually good. Coaster youtubers just love to trash on SLCs because that's what "cool" people do, so they convince themselves that they're bad when they're not. T3 will crush your legs though, but no worse than Skyrush.
I rode it 6x this year, enjoyed every ride. I'm fine with leg-crushing--I've ridden Skyrush. And a slight shaking doesn't really bother me. If I rated coaster roughness from 1 to 10, with 10 being Grizzly at King Dominion, then T3 gets a 2 or 3.

Great video! That visual of the low flying airplane over storm chaser was definitely unique!
Welcome to Kentucky Kingdom my hometown Amusement Park!
Pacific Crest hat is 🔥

Drew, T-3 was closed when I was there 2 1/2 weeks ago.

Be happy T3 is closed. It is the worst.
Eh it's not. The worst SLC I have done is Mind Eraser at SFDL
