Line jumpers are my biggest pet peeve. I see so many people get away with it and it makes me mad

I like how Universal does lockers, they are free as long as they are the small ones.

They have the best system I have found so far. It's not just the money, it actually works well. Not a waste of time. So easy and straight forward.

When people mess with the restraints having to check them over and over gets me angry

I hate it when people bring there phones on rides and try to film a pov when there not allowed too, its seriously dangerous and no body wants to watch some ones bad quality pov from there phone. I seriously almost got hit by a phone on storm chaser, racer, beast, and other coasters. I've told people to put there phones away on coasters but no GP's seem to understand it could seriously injure someone.

#5. Looking at you, Six Flags app. One time I got in line for Raging Bull at Great America because the app said 25 minutes. It was double that according to the stopwatch on my phone.

No single riders rules on some rides are one of my pet peeves. I run into this more at carnivals than I do at permanent parks, but on most rides it seems unnecessary. I sort of get it on rides like the Zipper, but on a Scrambler ride, an Enterprise, a Music Express? Come on! Sometimes people like to attend these places by themselves or come in an odd numbered group. And the odd person often doesn’t get to ride because of this rule. And I don’t much like to beg some random stranger to pair up with me to go for a ride because I feel that would make me seem like a nuisance. But most rides can definitely be ridden safely by single riders, especially if the same ride allows it at different parks.

Amen!!!! Most rides could use single rider. Would be so much better for the guest

So many of these I can identify with. One that has gotten very bad this year is those intimate couples in line. And about the parks almost requiring you to have your phone, that is so wrong on so many levels. I prefer to leave my phone in the car, because I don't want to carry it with me onto roller coasters & water rides. I want a paper map, because those are so much more user friendly. Six Flags also requires you to use your phone for flash pass.
Another thing that has gotten very bad recently is people who won't step through the gates until the exiting riders are completely off the train. They stand behind the open gates, because they think they're being friendly, but when the gates close on them & they don't get on, and that row goes out empty, the people behind them (usually me) also has to wait an extra cycle to ride. I will often ask the people "Are you gonna ride?", and they'll say "Yeah, but those people haven't gotten off the train yet." And then the gates close on them and they don't get to ride. I'll then suggest that they step through and wait inside the gates on the next one. I don't think it's impatient to go when it's time to go. I don't think it's friendly to stay back behind gates that are about to close. I get not wanting to rush up to people who still need to stand up and step off the train, but you can still gently step through the gates while they're open, as there is usually space between the open gates and the train.

I'm so stressed out over lockers. Talk about grinding your gears. I agree with all the points. 💯

    1) Harassment of any kind. I used to work at major park in Orlando. Some guests are really horrible to employees. Some are horrible to other guests. I have to admit, this is a FAR more common problem than most people would imagine. I had a friend get punched in the face and knocked to the ground because she had to close a character meet and greet line. I've also seen people throw change at an employees face because the employee was busy and didn't admire her engagement ring for long enough. And I've seen grown men sexually harassing teen girls they didn't know as they walk along the midway and talking about them in very explicit ways to their faces and it was clearly unwanted (not that it should even matter given the context.)
    2) Paid skip the Line Passes. This basically means someone is buying your ride time. At least under Disney's original system it was more like everyone was just trading since everyone could do it. But charging some people to skip will definitionally slow the standby line which means other people are getting more rides in while standbys get fewer as they make way for the big spenders. Someone is buying your ride time and the park is the one who gets the money. And no, you aren't getting a less expensive ticket because of it. Ticket prices continue to rise at near (and sometimes above) inflation rates so standby riders aren't getting some kind of bargain experience. That's just an excuse parks use to sound like they have an economic reason when they know most people aren't economically literate enough to realize it's just a scam they can get away with.
    3) Smoking outside designated areas (as you pointed out.) No one cares about your private habits until they start affecting everyone else. People would be upset if someone walked along the midway with a boom box blaring their own music. No one wants the smell of smoke while they're at a park, least of all people with going kids.
    4) Paid lockers instead of zipper bags. Not only does everyone have a cellphone these days but most people also have keys. So having stuff in pockets is the baseline expectation. If you're going to ban items in pockets (which is appropriate in some cases) then lockers should be included. That's part of the ride you've already paid for. Six Flags is a huge culprit here.
    5) Walt Disney World in particular refusing to expand. How on earth does that resort ever need to close anything to make space for something new? They have space that any other resort would DREAM of. And yet they almost always remove an attraction if they want to add a new one. There is so much space around each park and it's not just the land the company said they'd preserve of Florida swamp. They have developed area that could be used for park expansion but they don't. Meanwhile, Universal Orlando was willing to pay modern Orlando property prices in order to build Epic Universe. And other more geographically constricted Disney resorts still find ways to expand despite not having the space. Silver Dollar City and Dollywood have space but they're using it to expand to keep guests occupied and satisfied. How on earth does WDW EVER need to shut down an attraction in order to add something new?
    6) Line cutting. Obvious

Line jumping and lockers are the two that annoy me the most. There's got to be a way for guests to put loose articles in cubbys and ensure that they have nothing in their pockets before riding.

@@jaya1000 it's funny to see the person telling a tragic ballad about being "flicked into the ash bin of society" pretend that other people are the ones whose feelings are the discussion at hand. Do you need to feel more validated for your victim status as a smoker? Did this video hurt to watch? If using the American flag emoji helps you feel more valid in your victimhood then you use that to dry your tears. Remember, it's everyone else who is a bully.

When you said “shouting over everyone,” I feel like that was about Justin Scarred,” who while he doesn’t shout per se, is kind of obnoxiously loud
