Really enjoy when you clean, it does motivate me to get my rear in gear. Instead of thinking. "OH, I'll get to it. It's let's get some of this done." Before you know it, I've completed a task that has been ignored. YAY!
It's such a great idea to use the pillowcase when cleaning the ceiling fans. I'm definitely going to do that. I'll bet that I'll be cleaning them more often, bc I can't stand how the dust falls when they're dirty & the pillowcase takes care of that. ☺️👏
They are great at helping if I ask. We limit chores in the winter because of school but they are still always willing to help if I need a hand. The pillow case is a game changer when it comes to cleaning the fans. So much easier plus you don’t get all the dust on the mattress. I’m really enjoying seeing everyone’s Christmas photos as well.
So satisfying to see those fans and glass light covers transform. Always learn from your cleaning techniques. I found the BEST product for cleaning toilets and tiles. It is a clorox gel cleaner. I thought we needed a new toilet because there were bowl stains nothing removed, even with soaking. This product worked on the first try. It was a game changer for me. Made doing the tub tiles so much easier too. For Christmas treats we usually make a candy cane from crescent rolls shaped into a long rectangle and filled with cream cheese mixed with sugar, and chopped cherries, placed down the middle. The outside edges are cut every 1/2 inch and folded in a braid(criss crossing over the opposite side) to cover the filling and then shaped into a cane at the top end. Bake and add a white glaze on top with more cherry pieces. Great breakfast treat. We also make ribbon cookies which are a cookie dough shaped into a long rectangle where the center is deepened using your finger to run the length of the dough or using the handle of a spoon or knife if you don't want to touch it, and then filling the "trough" with raspberry jam and bake. It is also topped with icing after it comes out of the oven and the long rectangle is cut every 3/4" on a diagonal making individual cookies that should make one think of ribbon. That may be questionable, but they are a great cookie with a hot drink like coffee, tea, mulled cider etc. These came from Christmas baking magazines but are probably available on Pillsbury's website. They both go fast. I laughed when you talk about how fast Athena is growing since she probably hasn't even reached the weight mine were both born which was over 9 pounds. You have been blessed with extra infant time. When I see her in your arms she is still like a newborn to me. I remember my son reaching over 32 inches in his first year. He is 6'3" trim and strong now. Happy holidays!
That's so cool! I'm glad you found a product that worked so well. I just added it to my Walmart order to give it a try. We also laugh about that because yes she is still smaller than when Bjorn was born at almost 10lbs lol
Great you let and learned the kids help - they will be great as adults. Thanks for all the motivation. Love a christmas bake video. Have a great week and tske care❤
By the way Xander was talking in one of your videos where Bjorn was washing the play house. His voice is so deep!!!!😳. Holy cow I hadn’t heard him talk much. Your baby is growing up. Who would have thought the pillow case. I’ve seen you do that hundreds of times. Now I have 3 fans. So I will be dedicating a pillow case for just those. I agree even those swifter duster mops drop particles.
I had to have a hot tub/jacuzzi moved. I called a local hauling service. 3 guys showed up with a pick-up and dolly. Easy peasy. $150 Food for thought 😊
Loved the fan cleaning hack, I can’t stand getting dust clumps everywhere! Also, not necessarily a holiday cookie, but my mom always made buckeyes and I would dip them in the chocolate! You can also use some sprinkles and white/colored chocolate to drizzle and make them more holiday-esque!!
Thank you for sharing the pillow case hack for ceiling fans. That would make it so much easier and faster to clean. Thanks for sharing the different Christmas treats. Sounds like a great time to start on those this week. We have snow in Michigan. It’s called lake effect ⛄️ snow ❄️ !
You're welcome! It's the best way to clean them. When we lived in Wisconsin we got a lot of that lake affect snow. No fun lol. However the lake also sometimes kept it away. It just depended on the storm
Magic cookie bars, sugar cookies, pizzels, chocolate covered pretzels, reindeer chow, Italian ( Mexican) wedding cakes Yummo!! Thank you for the motivation! I love using my spin mop to clean my ceilings, walls, cabinets,, Have a great week ❤
They are soooo good!! I’ll find the recipe tomortiw and snap it for you! It’s a layers cookie bar, graham cracker crust, coconut, chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, they are addictive! I only make them once a year!
Our Christmas go tos are crazy simple but so so good. Ritz crackers, chocolate candy coating, peppermint extract. Put a cap full or 2 of peppermint extract in the melted chocolate, dip each cracker…..that’s it. You can add sprinkles if you want. They are surprisingly good. My kids beg me to make them.
I really love Mexican wedding cookies, or as I call them, Snowballs. German Pfeffernusse are similar in looks to the Mexican wedding cookie, but the taste is very different, being a molasses and anise flavor, so closer to gingerbread in taste. The name translates to “pepper nuts”.
@@deborahherring6077 The first time I’d ever heard of them was in a book my distant relatives wrote of remembrances of my 2x and 3x great grandparents and what Christmas was like with them in the 1870’s after immigrating to the US from Germany in the 1860’s. They spoke of my 3x g-grandmother making pfeffernusse for holiday treats. I actually just had some that I picked up from the Publix bakery last week.
Hi Cambriea love love your videos ,you are amazing mom wife and all the things, your kids are very sweet too good job God bless you and your family have a good week🇨🇦💜💛💚💛💜💜🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌
I found a really nice duster at Lowe’s with a long handle that I used a lot in Wisconsin because we had taller ceilings. Kinda like this one www.amazon.com/Microfiber-Removable-Extension-Bookshelves-Furniture/dp/B0CDKMD1QB
Do you, Cambriea or anybody that follows, Cambriea, know how to clean a ceiling fan over a bed? I have 10 ft ceilings & am 5' 2" in height. The pillow case method (that Cambriea suggests) would be great. But I'm too short (standing on my bed) because of my 10 ft ceilings. I was thinking about an extension piece, but not sure where to get it for my use. Just thought I'd ask, as I just moved in, in July. Thanks
I have one I found at Lowe’s. It’s ment for fans that are too hard to reach. It’s just like this one but a green color. www.amazon.com/Microfiber-Removable-Extension-Bookshelves-Furniture/dp/B0CDKMD1QB
I bought this cleaner pole. It has a fluffy circle on it. Then, I put the blade inside the circle. But I also spray circle before going over the blade. I do it a couple of times. Then it's good. I know I am short too. ❤
Hi Cambria, Ugh you always make me clean. 😂 Spritz cookies are a ride or die for Christmas. Anything else is just a bonus. I’m in Minnesota and yes, it’s cold! Thanks for the motivation and looking forward to the December baking edition. 🧑🍳

Hi Cambriea you got so much done great video,I have a recipe not necessarily a Christmas recipe but shortbread it is absolutely delicious I hope you try it 155g (5 oz) plain flour (1 cup or 236ml) 30g (1oz fine semolina) 3TBSP or 53ml 125g (4oz) salted butter((1/2 cup or 188ml) 60g 2oz caster sugar (1/3 cup or 78ml Rub butter into the flour until the mixture resembles breadcrumbs then add sugar roll out and use a cookie cutter, cook at 160 for 20 or 30 minutes just keep checking then when they are done sprinkle with sugar or dip half in chocolate these are so delicious I have made loads of shortbread but I think it is the semolina that gives these cookies their flavour, have a nice week.😊

I'm not even sure how to get caught up. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for the video and I can't wait for the committed and treats one❤😊
Hey Cambiea, I love seeing your videos all the time! I love seeing the before & after pictures of the cleaning. I actually got a load of laundry in the dryer and I'm waiting to switch it to another load since I split it into like 3. I need to maybe get some motivation to get my steps in for the day. Yes I love that 🤗🥰🤗
