This song is particularly personal to Mori. She wrote it for her dad who she's been estranged from for a while now. Didn't even attended her wedding last year. What an ass! In a recent interview, she said she still couldn't talk about this song without bursting into tears.

Best versions are live... Something called monster concert for a radio station. She is alone singing live ... Fantastic
The other songs produced and co-written are 'Trophy', 'Phoenix', 'Will You Stay' and 'Mirror. All recorded live with her band. Then there is 'Power' written for her that was performed at the Miss Universe Philippines pageant earlier this year. I would recommend you check out the one take recording session of that song. Do check out her live band performance of 'Gusto Ko Nang Bumitaw' or the live performance on 'Wish Bus' and you won't be the same. And lastly, she just put out a Bruno Mars Evolution medley that is just completely out of this world. Glad to see you back reacting to the Queen.

One of my fave song in her EP Signature, which you should really check out. It's only 5 songs but holy smokes. It's so damn good. Don't take my word for it. There's a little something for everyone. This is such a personal song for her due to the background of this song. It's about her estranged relationship with her father, her family really. They haven't spoken in quite some time and they weren't even present in her wedding earlier this year. So it's so personal and so painful to sing too. But it's such a good song. The guitarist is Sergio Ramos whom Morisette works with all the time. As well as her musical directort Adonis Tabanda-he's the bass player in the Bruno Mars
