Bonjour j ai acheté votre plan pour réaliser ce drill guide . pouvez vous me dire comment trouver les deux petits linear guide ? Ainsi que le drill chuck? et le Magnetic Kanetec MB-PG ?
Another thing, you work as an engineer, and you present your session as a teacher, I understand that the barrier of spoken language can be an obstacle, but you have circumvented it with the precise gestures that everyone can understand, it shows that you are not just a carpenter. Thank you for your efforts.
The amount of precision and exactness this guy has in every thing he does is amazing, I’m really impressed! So typical Japanese to, quiet, tidy, professional and highly skilled.
What a great idea. I often need to drill precise holes outside the shop, and it's a struggle to get them perfect and square. This tool of yours will help me tremendously. Congratulations and accept a hug from a poor but curious Brazilian!
Every video I watch I'm more impressed everything you do is super well built with an incredible quality in all delhalhes, the types and quality of the tools are also excellent
Great video thanks! beautiful precision in this and your other projects. In the process of building one of these myself based on this, with the addition of an expansion spring so the chuck assembly is suspended clear of the workpiece when no pressure applied. Also a 'shaft collar' fitted to one of the rails can be used as an adjustable depth stop. As some others have mentioned parts are a little tricky to find but I eventually managed to track down 'linear motion bearings' and a 'drill spindle assembly', aluminium plate can be bought cut to size and stainless rod is widely available for the rails.
I'm curious how you managed to drill square holds in the long and narrow pieces that stand on edge? That seems to me to be the most challenging part of the build.
This is so awesome. The workmanship is so educational. ... The idea to use a "Table Drill Spindle High Accuracy Unpowered Spindle Assembly for Table Drill DIY" is super cool. This would be extra fly if on a X Y table mount so you could lock in the start and drill multiple hole at one time. This is so cool it is giving me head aches.
Toujours la même minutie et le geste précis. Ça donne un outil précis pour plus de précision dans le travail. Bravo et merci pour le partage. J'ai toujours autant de plaisir à vous regarder.
it's an excellent drill guide. the magnetic base allows you to use weight to enhance stability. could also use a wider/longer aluminum bottom plate to make it easy to clamp and a 2-way mill vise type of interface for micro-adjustability after clamping
Yes, I agree, the design turned out to be of high quality. Especially for precision work. But here I am concerned about one question - you probably have milled pieces of aluminum and bearings in housings on every corner? We have these things cost a lot of money. The price of such a homemade product will be comparable to an inexpensive drilling machine. Thanks for the idea. Best regards from Russia.
i just want to say about tha same as everyone the accuracy of your work is always incredible ten thousand of tumbs up from me and i can't believe some have put a tumbs down on your build thanks for sharing it
As usual, the highest quality! But the idea is brilliant in its simplicity !!! And the use of ready-made parts ... I am just delighted :D With a maximum rating of 10, I gave 12. And the worst thing is that in none of YOUR projects nothing can be criticized :D :D :D

That must be most accurate DIY drill stand on the web. Congrats my friend it is very precise work. Just one advice you can add proper springs below the bushings.
@@nonamecieso9506 Translation: I think springs are a good idea. However, since the tension of the spring is applied, it is necessary to hold the stand firmly, which may be inconvenient.
JSK-Koubou, you should team up with a manufacturer and make kits for people to buy on the more technical builds. Great Video's, I rather like watching the process.
You are truly extraordinary ... So that the results of your work are maximum ... Good luck always friends ... Greetings from Indonesia (By google translate)
Simply put...GENIUS! I have one question though. I've searched to find the bearing housing for the chuck arbor, not the linear bearings for the guide rails but the rotational bearing block. (of course I'm assuming you didn't extrude the aluminum in your shop!) Would you please share the information for this component? Incase my description is unclear, it's the piece you are holding in your left hand at 9:27 into the build. Obviously I must build this robust, precision, drill guide. All of your builds are truly enlightening and educational. Thank you so much for sharing your skills with the world...again, GENIUS!
todos os trabalhos são incríveis, precisos e realizados com muita calma, não me canso de assisti-los. Obrigado por compartilhar com todos e parabéns!!!
Specialist tools? Most of that stuff is shop-made out of plywood and tons of talent. There's nothing there that is a "specialist" tool that wasn't first created with basic tools (drill, saw, etc). Granted, it's high precision, but still "home made" with basic tools.
firstly i like the fact that you used metal instead of any wood ,and i would recommend using a laser marker to drill holes which are centre punched with precision
My apologies if this has been asked already; but, have you looked at replacing the drill with an angle grinder so you can do very clean cuts on metal rods or angle-iron? This would be a portable version of the sliding angle-grinder cut-off shown in another video.
Awesome build, interesting to see a woodworker take on the use of a magnetic base drill. Would it be possible to get some footage of what magnetic base drills are intended for, which would be drilling holes in steel plate that the drill magnetically attached? Thanks, once again, great video, nice build!
Hello... This is an amazing video... I would like to give it a try. Question... Where did you buy the chuck? Did you customize it? Thank you in advance
Podrías comentar como se llama el centrador punzonador que utilizas para marcar los agujeros? Un magnífico trabajo y un gran saludo desde Albacete, España.
Nice drill guide, before buying your plan I would like to know where can I buy the magnetic mount. and what the size of it and the lifting capacity I'm from Canada Quebec
At ~ 9:24, you begin to work with what I describe as a shafted drill chuck mounted in a pillow block bearing. What is the correct term for that part and do you have a link where similar products can be purchased? Thank you.
Hi bruh. I love your work so much. Could you pls make a dowel jointer jig using a trim router? It would be interesting to see your build. Much love and keep up the good work

Great job. It’s great to see a perfectionist at work.
I see machinist quality and precision in all of the work you you do 👏👏👏👏 I am always impressed by your builds. You inspire me 👍👍
I agree. I want to assume he is a machinist.

Excellent work. The only thing is a magnetic drill guide/stand is used for drilling steel, not wood. Defeats the purpose of the magnet.

But to fit the average youtuber's budget, it needs to be made out of hot glue and fast food wrappers.
