The reason Rick created the Finite Curve was to trap Prime Rick in a bubble, so that way C-137 doesn't have to literally search the entire Multiverse for him.

    • @rzovlogs
      @rzovlogs Рік тому +406

But still he has to look into infinite universes, although some infinites are bigger than others. Think of it like this, The Central Finite curve is like enclosing the numbers 1 to 2, and the rest of the real numbers are the multiverse. Of course, there are still an infinite amount of numbers outside 2 and 1, but between 1 and 2 there’s also an infinite amount of numbers, like 1.1,1.001,1.0001 and so on.

Im still convinced that the reason C137 Rick contributed to the creation of the central finite curve, is not because it keeps the Ricks on top, but because it quarantines the Ricks from the remainder of the multiverse. Hes so depressed and self destructive because hes the only Rick who knows hes imprisoned, and its a prison of his own creation.

So you may already know this but this is pretty cool. Rick is based on Doc Brown from Back to the future, but he's also Reed Richards from the F4.
Reed Richards created a pocket dimension called the Council of Reeds in order to solve all the problems of the universe with all the other dimensional versions of himself and Kang is Reed Richards descendant, so he also did that to ape his (great great etc..) grandfather's idea. Except that from a publication standpoint, the council of Kangs predates the council of Reeds,
      SO:
The council of Ricks is based on the council of Reeds which is based on the council of Kang's which (in universe) is based on the council of Reeds

I don’t know if they realize it but it uses a mathematical concept of differently sizes infinities. Meaning that some infinities are bigger than others and some are smaller than others. The central finite curve belongs to a lower order of infinite universes that the multiverse as it encompasses the infinite infinity while the central finite curve encompasses something called the ironically enough countable infinity.

so is infinity something a concept and let's say one infinite is number 1
      and the other is 2
they are both infinite but one is higher is that how it works
or is just something that keeps re appearing called infinite? no matter the time
      so like
every 5 seconds you get 1 pizza
while it is small it is infinite?

They didn’t repair the finite curve if Rick says the curb is repaired, it’s considered to be repaired, but until we get actual confirmation it is halfway repaired, but not the way how the other Rick’s would like it to be so there is still a possibility that evil Rick will want to repair it and trap Rick in there so that way he won’t mess with evil, Rick stuff, and keep him out of his business.

Reasons for a dimensional lock out:
1: Ricks working together to Trap rick prime, who as we know killed ALL versions of their wife.
2: we saw how chaotic it is outside the CFC random portal jumping people everywhere. Even multiversal collisions where each portal is killing other versions of the same people infinitely.. outside the curve is not safe.
Eye patch morty had to shield himself off to survive.
3: only ricks actively use IDPT, some beings are known to have it, but even the dinosaurs only appear after the curve breaks.

As in hes incredibly high intelligence and has a ton of power, way past doofus rick. So I don't think they were really thinking about the finite curve back then, so he's more of an outlier.
If your interested in hearing more about the comic you can find a rundown of it in a youtube video titled "Jerry Smith Who Became God"
In the comics he fights c-137 Rick and beats him up multiple times, aswell as thinking ahead past Rick and disarming his bombs. This Jerry never met a Rick before yet instantly was able to outsmart him and think past him.

When you look at it the 3 most OP characters in the series are our (the shows main) Rick, then Rick Prime, and Evil Morty. Evil Morty seems to be at the same level as the main show Rick. And Rick Prime mentioned how the only 2 Rick's in existence to actually invent portal travel were himself and the shows main Rick, meaning they are clearly the two most intelligent and powerful of all the Rick's in existence. Our main Rick has shown himself to be far superior to literally every Rick in existence, and eventually even killed Rick Prime...with Evil Morty providing some major help but he wouldn't have done so unless our main Rick was actually worth helping to Evil Morty which Morty mentions when he acknowledges that this Rick is "a little different". Evil Morty doesn't seem to be any smarter than our Rick but he does reign in errant emotions and doesn't get distracted like our Rick which means he simply achieves what he sets out to do without any of the extraneous nonsense and does it much quicker and more direct than Rick does. I think if they really fought to the death that they'd be at a stale mate, or eventually just decide its stupid to fight each other.
But even though our Rick is THE Rick at the top, he's influenced by our Morty and when Morty truly wants/needs something Rick does whatever he can to make sure it's done, which makes main Morty also crazy OP by virtue of having the most OP Rick looking out for him.
