Thank you so much to Shea for playing this deck for me. I really loved the match, I love Rin and Seri and I am very happy you liked my recommendation so much. :)
I looked it up and wound reflection's oracle text says at the beginning of end step, but both scenarios it would still work as played in the video. In the first scenario, cgb just has to react to the trigger on the stack with walking ballista, since the amount is decided on resolution and not when it goes on the stack. And for the final turn, this is a new one for me but apparently when a player loses in a multiplayer game, their turn doesn't actually end, instead it continues as usual without a player, so the phases work as normal and end step will still be reached eventually before Ben's turn.
Props to CGB for taking the realization he missed the wound reflection and had an answer in hand with grace. Lesser players would have a meltdown and plead for take-backs.
All I could think of when the Consecrated Sphinx un-suspended was "player removal is best removal" xD What a game! Loved the unintended synergy between Ben's commander and the Ballista.
I especially like how CGB praises the playing of Wound Reflection (29:48), only to then forget about it and lose to it later (42:26). Great game everyone, and congrats Ben, who's on a hot streak!
I think there is a line where CGB Kills Ben with Reservoir instead of Shea, loses it in the process but in return gets to untap at 2 life with the help of Shannas lifelink. Still an incredible game with a lot of back and forth and very close until the end.
My Shanna deck is stupid powerful! Three cards Shanna, celestial mantle and accomplished alchemist, gain double life let’s say 30 tap AA for 30 white Mana, and draw 30 cards and be at 66 life
me currently building a Sheoldred deck that relies on wound reflection: "That aetherflux will backfire if CGB has the brilliant idea to kill Shae instead of Ben. Surely he knows it and will kill Ben. Welp... guess he didn't know it after all..."
Looks like this is a more complex interaction than it would seem at first glance - Wound reflection's oracle text reads the beginning of the end step, however rule 800.4j says the turn continues to completion without an active player ... so the end step happens and CGB loses is the correct call either way. Rule 800.4j reads: If a player leaves the game during their turn, that turn continues to its completion without an active player. If the active player would receive priority, instead the next player in turn order receives priority, or the top object on the stack resolves, or the phase or step ends, whichever is appropriate.
Aetherflux Reservoir gains you 1 life for each spell you've cast a turn so if you cast 1 it'd be 1 life, 2 spells =3 life, 3 spells =6 life, 4 spells=10 life, 5 spells = 15 life, 6 spells 21 life and so on.
There’s a Karrvek The Merciless deck in my play group… we’ve had people have lose to Wound Reflection in similar fashion before. An inadvertent win is still a win!! Full send Ben!! 🤣
Maybe the best win in the series yet, and there have been some sweet ones. I didn't even see it coming until Ben asked "that's the end of Shea's turn, right?"
Sweet battle funny moment and a shocking ending 😅 I love and own your Commander Shea cool card was unfortunately scratch by our cat on accident I think something scared him he jump from window landed on my arm forgot how much that hurt 😅 Enjoyed everyone else game plan as well Ben your was the most interesting it not something I'm use to seeing and I was shock how your card work too I thought that step could get skip guess not lol I seen the king many time but interesting cards in it Blake and so close CGB to your worse possible outcome I enjoyed every second love this group it the best I stayed till the end even through commercial for more support and I can't wait to see what everyone does next and please never forget everyone you're cool 😎🤟🏾❤️
Oh wow that's really cool! I always notice that they take new pictures every episode, and I have always thought that was a nice touch and shows a little extra effort and care. The fact that they are posing like their Commanders just makes it even cooler
You guys should grab that copy of love letter from the shelf behind Ben and Blake and give it a try. MTG is obviously the best game, but love letter is a close second.
If CGB had let the killing of AR go through wouldn't he have won with Felidar Sovereign? Ben already said he couldn't remove permanents. He wouldve had to do over 20 damage to CGB to bring him under 40.
@@dreyfus37_65 He had blockers right? He could've given them all lifelink with Heliod if he had enough mana.(he shouldn't have sacked seedborne muse imo) Idk it's all academic now. I guess it would depend on how much damage Ren and Seri could've done.
Blake should not have died. CGB did not get the math right and did not have lethal when he thought he did. Blake was at 38, then took 6 to go to 32, then 1 to 31, and 9 to 22. At the end of the turn, he would have taken another 16 to go to 6. But CGB double-counted the 6 combat damage. Big bummer b/c I wanted to see more of his deck.
Long time watcher. I wonder if you could read some of the cards even if they seem obvious to you. I am newer to mtg & have had to look up cards while watching. Thanks, really enjoy the videos.
Ben is adorable . He seems to be getting the hang of introductions. I'm seeing card I definitely gotta order from cool stuff probably when the 40k stuff comes out
Man, Yurlok is such a cool commander, but it kinda hurts when your opponents have good mana sinks. I wonder if it'd be worth it to run some Harsh Mentor / Runic Armasaur type stuff to punish activated abilities.
We need a non-spoiler comment pinned on each of these videos, YT always shows one comment on mobile until you turn phone sideways and it often has spoilers
Great episode! But I don't think Blake should die. He took 1, then 6, then 9, ending up at 23 life. With the wound reflection he then looses 16 life, ending up at 7. What did I miss?
Worst Possible Commander take 10: Ben wins the game without doing anything but watching and politicking Shea to attack so he could get a unsuspected win over CGB. Just Epic
Ben for President! - The biggest play he made was convincing Shea to take the bullet, what a mastermind!
he 100% was baiting that from the start lolol
I enjoyed the coolness with which Ben just asked, "That's the end of Shea's turn, right?"
CGB accidentally pushed the self destruct button on the Deathstar when firing ^^
Thank you so much to Shea for playing this deck for me. I really loved the match, I love Rin and Seri and I am very happy you liked my recommendation so much. :)

Didn't know that either and it was interesting to learn. You skip through phases, you get opponents triggers.
The ultimate respect paid to Blake ☝️
YESSSSSS!!!!!! She took one for the team and still got him!? Best ending ever
Shea definitely won the style points for coming dressed for the occasion!
I’ve never related to CGB more than when he kept asking his friends to help with the Sphinx 🤣
I especially like how CGB praises the playing of Wound Reflection (29:48), only to then forget about it and lose to it later (42:26). Great game everyone, and congrats Ben, who's on a hot streak!
CGB - "Unlimited Power!!!"
Ben - "No, no, no, no, YOU WILL DIE"
I think there is a line where CGB Kills Ben with Reservoir instead of Shea, loses it in the process but in return gets to untap at 2 life with the help of Shannas lifelink. Still an incredible game with a lot of back and forth and very close until the end.
It just occured to me that I should open a German Commander channel. I'll call it the Wurst Commander Show.
Love Shanna, can't wait to see what you've done with her!
My Shanna deck is stupid powerful! Three cards Shanna, celestial mantle and accomplished alchemist, gain double life let’s say 30 tap AA for 30 white Mana, and draw 30 cards and be at 66 life
Love watching these episodes 😊 you all are the most wholesome commander channel on UA-cam
I love Yurlok! Great game end too. My favorite moments were Shea’s looks at the camera.
me currently building a Sheoldred deck that relies on wound reflection: "That aetherflux will backfire if CGB has the brilliant idea to kill Shae instead of Ben. Surely he knows it and will kill Ben. Welp... guess he didn't know it after all..."
CGB shooting Shea with the Death Star then not winning is priceless. Ben for president!
I was waiting so long for cgb to realize he would die if he used that ability, and he never did XD
15:22 Teferi enters with 3 Loyalty if I am not wrong, so blake instantly using the -3 should have killed it
Came here to see this comment. Teferi should have been gone.
Not only that but phase out isn’t exile, doesn’t it come back immediately in CGB’s turn?
That was a hilarious and unexpected ending! Reading the card explains the card CGB! :)
Love the old aetherfkux Death Star uno reverse. Wound reflection is amazing…. It’d be gross with a peer into the abyss. Or a dire fleet ravager lol
thanks for having that little song in the background, love that little song
Just started the episode but I am rooting for #BentheEDHboss
Ben is such a genuine guy and I love him. Blake is hilarious, cgb is a wizard. And shae is just super sweet. My favorite mtg crew by far

This was the inly issue i had. CGB should have had so much more life.
Still gonna die to that extra 50 + whatever Ben could do during his turn tho
"are things about to get really weird, CGB?!?"
"definitely not as weird as me going by CGB while everyone else is like, Brian..."
“There are two words that Gandhi once said. Full send.” lmao best moment
The moment ben said at the end of shades turn, we knew he knew
One of the best conclusions ever, that was hilarious!
You guys should do pauper decks, common only and your commander is an uncommon.
Ben: “Shay if you let him kill you I win”
Shay: “Ok”
CCB: “What?”
Ben proceeds to win the game but CGB firing his loaded gun at Shay. 😂
Shouldn't the Teferi have died when Blake -3'd it cause it starts at 3 loyalty?
Yeah, remove the counters is a cost
love the art on shea's commander card almost as much as the art on her shirt
OMG this is epic! Pulled the trigger and the gun exploded! I have never ever before seen it go off this way.
The spirit of Shay has her revenge. Going to remember this one!
Ben unlocked a core memory I forgot I had with PEMDAS! 🤔😆
Wondering why Shea just didn’t use the Jund mana to constantly cast and bounce White Mane for extra tokens?
Needs white mana for that and she only had 1 white mana left.
Awesome Ben!!! That was the sweetest slow roll ever.
Rin and seri is my favorite commander deck right now. It’s so much freaking fun to play! Good luck Shae!
Is it any good and what list you using? Im thinking of building one myself but dont want it be jank 😅
There’s a Karrvek The Merciless deck in my play group… we’ve had people have lose to Wound Reflection in similar fashion before.
An inadvertent win is still a win!!
Full send Ben!! 🤣

I only just realized that you pose as your commanders in the intro segment! Great effort by Shea, posing as animals lmao
Oh wow that's really cool! I always notice that they take new pictures every episode, and I have always thought that was a nice touch and shows a little extra effort and care. The fact that they are posing like their Commanders just makes it even cooler
The looks on everyone's faces when sweaty gb played and untapped cradle multiple times a turn.
Let's go Ben! My man with the biggest brain plays!
The sphinx left for lunch and came back to an empty work place.
Love your videos! Ben and Shea are the best!
You guys should grab that copy of love letter from the shelf behind Ben and Blake and give it a try. MTG is obviously the best game, but love letter is a close second.
Thanks Crew.
Yes Ben we did witness the Full power of that battle station.
Ben, the passive most aggressive of them all! King!
The disrespect…Blake will not forget this.
I'm a simple man, I see Rin and Seri, I like, comment, subscribe, and hit the bell!
absolutely amazing episode
Look forward to sundays and your videos!

What an epic end for a great game!! I love it!!

The combat damage is doubled no? Wound reflection says at the end of each end step oppoments lost life equal to the amount they lose??
I get giddy whenever I see that Ben is hosting. Only 10s in and I'm already hyped for this one
That was an incredible game. Ben for President 2024!
Blake's shot in the title intro looks like he posing for an alter of him on Kenrith. Like, yes peasants, you may look upon me lmao
This comment is approved by yours truly 👍
Ben's PEMDAS joke literally made me laugh out loud.
Ben. Worst intro, best ending! LOL
Ben and Shea 2024
BEAUTIFUL FINISH!
Long time watcher. I wonder if you could read some of the cards even if they seem obvious to you. I am newer to mtg & have had to look up cards while watching. Thanks, really enjoy the videos.
Go go Ben. Nice intro!
I always preferred Avacyn + archetype of endurance for tooth/defense. It's so much harder to deal with.
That battle station had a defect lol.
Lethal is on the stack... that was awesome.
"Average 7" 🤣🤣🤣 not us! Amiright! Lol
12 minutes in and I think CGB and Blake are going to deck themselves lol
It would be helpful if the editor could put a running count of turns in the corner.
Turn 4 Tooth & Nail?!
At least, that's what I gleaned from the title. 😅
that finale was bomb! literally lol
Lol Hilarious gameplay. Well done!
Ben - Shea is a sacrifice I'm willing to make.
Is this where I cast my vote for our new glorious leader?
Also, the instant karma for CGB was just delicious
What a confluence of cool plays, way to go on this one team :)

CBG: King of Politics in Commander,"I'm relying on you two guys not to work together. Please stop."
When their is finally a bunny commander and support cards I trust Shea to use them to nibble her opponents to death
Kwain is a bunny!
wow big brain plays from Ben
That Cuphead shirt! I see you Blake.
Are there any things you guys voluntarily (don't) do to make the game more watchable? I'm thinking like: not too many boardwipes, no stax etc.
Amazing ending!
Ben may have won the game. But Shea won our hearts.
Great episode!
But I don't think Blake should die. He took 1, then 6, then 9, ending up at 23 life. With the wound reflection he then looses 16 life, ending up at 7. What did I miss?
Combat damage from ben before CGB finished him off
@@chris4439 That's the 6 I counted in my comment. Still doesn't kill him
Hmm.. Im not sure then, may have to rewatch
Best game ending! 🔥
The most masterful politics I've ever seen.
If only you could hear me and this hadn’t already happened because I tried to warn you cgb 😂 Ggs Ben two in a row!
congrats to Ben for setting up that trap to get CGB :)
This was an amazing way to win!
Worst Possible Commander take 10: Ben wins the game without doing anything but watching and politicking Shea to attack so he could get a unsuspected win over CGB. Just Epic
You guys are such nerds. I love it.
@CovertGoCrew how come your doing this show on here and not your main channel
