I think it has most of the enchantress effects. Those and bunch of mana and any enchantment deck will go off. The list itself isn’t that powerfull. Imagine what it can do when even slightly upgraded!

I think WotC has gotten really good at getting their yearly precons to stack up against each other, and this video really highlights that. Really fun, splashy, memorable moments. No one was really that out of the game until the end. Even the way things played out in the end are dependent more on how the other decks had played rather than the deck itself blowing the other ones out of the water. Fun game.
Spikefeeder gameplay videos are always amazing! I'm loving going into the backlog and watching y'all play. This video has made me want to buy the Enchantress deck all over again.
the problem with walkers is that alot of the times they dont get killed on sight suddenly "oops i get infinite and win now" so the threat assessment is not goofy

Around 20 mins, when Anikthea was casted the 1st time, there should have been 2 triggers from Composer of Spring (1 for Anikthea and 1 for Arasta), in fact Anikthea recurse from the graveyard an enchantment as a 3/3 zombie creature "in addition to its other types", so Arasta keeps the enchantment type. Guess it doesn't matter in the end. This was a great video btw i loved to see how much fun you had. Me and my friends are planning to buy one of each Commander and play together (i'm definetly going for Anikthea, i just love that card). Ty so much for the game!

The slivers deck as a precon played exactly as I imagined it. That manabase is rough. Loved the Eldrazi and the Enchantments deck pop off. Can't wait for the next episode! Might pick up the Eldrazi one when they get on sale.
@@klerkusmaximus No, it would have made total sense to print the battlebond lands and at that point the deck might have been just about worth a buy. Or at least including sliver hive. At it's current state it's a pretty dumb purchase and if it sells well it will just seal the deal for Wizards to price future "non-premium" commander decks at £85. I could build a sliver deck with a decent land base for the same price if not less.
I'm looking at getting the Sliver Swarm deck. I have seen that a lot of people get rid of most of the basic lands in favor of 2, 3, and 4 color lands to balance out the mana better
I've been keeping an eye on all 4 of these decks ever since their announcement. I barely play the game anymore, but I'm constantly intrigued by their playstyles. I've gotta say, the enchantments one has surprised me a lot. It was my least favored, and it's now my most anticipated. Compared to Slivers and Eldrazi who look like they just play the same as they have always played, the Enchantment one looks like something I've never seen before.
I have a question about the Ondu Spiritdancer card in Jim's deck. When it says you "May" copy an enchantment as it enters, do this only once each turn. If i choose not to copy the fitst enchantment i play does the once per turn thing kick in or does it only kick in when ibe actually copied something?
That’s correct, the “once per turn” restriction only applies to you copying the enchantment, it’ll still trigger later if you opt not to copy one earlier in the turn. Compare the rulings on Nykthos Paragon, it has an identically-worded ability that lets you put counters on your creatures “once per turn”.
I can't wait for my Eldrazi deck to come in but man in the limited amount of preview games I've seen it is so vulnerable to board wipes. It also has a lack of Eldrazi (Something like 15 or less). Definitely gonna be interesting seeing what upgrades people make to it.

The eldrazi precon having the half-art wastes has to be some sort of crime, its so obvious the art wasn’t made for the card frame and they look terrible

If they were going to limit the Wizard tokens to only making mana that can be used to cast Planeswalkers, why did they also limit it to being Red. It could have been so good in any Superfriends build that contained Jeskai, limiting to Red reduces the utility by a decent amount.
Yeah I agree.. should’ve been all 3 colors the deck plays.. red white and blue. Even if it was red and blue that’s still better than just red. I just got that planeswalker deck and I’m excited to play it with upgrades. I didn’t think the enchantress deck was all that crazy until I watched this game.
He didnt get rid of any planewalkers, he didn't get rid of card that lets her drop cards for free every turn, he didn't get rid of jims commander, there were so much more better targets arbiter was saving everyone's life
I’ve made this same mistake early in my magic playing, playing an aggro deck, you see silent arbiter or crawl space and immediately think “that’s not good for my decks strategy” when In actuality that would’ve been the perfect time to remove real threats and build your board state. Save the silent arbiter until you’re ready to finish the table. He could’ve exiled half the board with encore triggers provided he had the mana for it
That's how I feel about this deck too. I talk about it in the postgame discussion next week, but I really wish they'd leaned more into reanimator and less into "everything draws you a card". - Jim

Love you guys. Love most of the game play. Watching these decks with these mana bases just hurts knowing how much they cost. The lord of the rings pre cons had better lands for in most cases less money.
Myriad Construct says when it's the target of a spell or ability you would sac it and make the tokens, but Elspeths ability destroying it doesnt target. So no tokens for me :'(
Did WotC try to build decks that are divisive? Apparently Gavin said they scrapped an idea for a Evil Zedruu deck because it turned into Stax, but I don’t see why that would be so bad. Enchantress and Planeswalkers are the kill on-sight decks for me. As an Eldrazi loyalist, I’m anti-matter, anti-value. Become one with nothing.
I had pre-ordered the Enchantress deck when it got revealed because it looks very solid and I already have a bunch of cards to upgrade it. This means I'll have both a Selesnya Enchantress deck and an Azban one and I don't feel bad about it one bit either!
Yeah that is pure greed. It was selling for $60-80 when they first went on sale and I luckily preordered off Amazon for $80. Now everywhere has them at $180 for no reason lol
Really hopin the shop near me that sold LotR decks for less than 70 sells these precons for about the same, because not only do I wanna play/upgrade both the Eldrazi and Sliver precons, but both have some singles I could use elsewhere - that Ugin's Mastery is perfect for Kadena, the illusion titan in Slivers is great for Jabari, etc
For everybody that wants to play the sliver deck. Prepare to spend at least another 50 bucks on lands ! The deck will leave you mana screwed and behind about 50 percent of the time. Absolute joke

As a super friends player, i get the goofy threat assessment...i also get focused. Everyone sees walkers and just murders them on site
They had no other good attacks than towards the walkers

Kicker doesn't affect the CMC of a card, so the mana value was still less than 7.

It's because unfortunately, it isn't an Eldrazi deck, but a colorless deck (that happens to have Eldrazi in there).

They were thinking it doesn't matter since people will buy it anyway. And try to somehow don't provide a full and high power deck as a precon.
Wasn't the Duplicant also indestructible when Elspeth went off? Because it's also a sliver being a Shapeshifter?
No because it copies the creature type of whatever it exiled which was jims enchantment beast
Shapeshifter doesn't grant additional creature types, even though a lot of them have the changeling ability that DOES grant additional creature types.

Does kicker count as additional cost to cast or a separate ability? If it's cast cost, would Myriad Construct trigger the cascade?
Kicker is just paying an additional cost. It does not change the mana value so cascade does not trigger.

Kicker is mana you spend to on an ability, not the actual spell. Therefore the spells mana cost is still 4 unfortunately.

What I really, really do not like about the idea of Anikthea is that Replenish, Resurgent Belief, Brilliant Restoration and Open the Vaults exist.
