Try putting the mirror switch in middle then hold the square button and see if they fold. I watched a video where a guy did that and thats how his folded in but it was like on an 04 avalanche.
Do I have to connect both mirrors to test their functionality like you did? I connected only one new, the second one remained without turn and puddle light and the light and turn function didn't work.
I have an 04 silvetado. I just picked up some Tahoe folding mirrors, haven't tried to install yet. I have a lot of wires on both plugs, I noticed you have only one wire on black. Will this be an issue?

Did not work and to be honest I just left as is lol
Yea swap out the button and put the turn signal mirrors and the power folding the light under going to work everything is plug and play
