    Plate coving the hole is upside down, once flipped theres a groove for the wires and the spot for the clip on the plate is bottom right.

    I spent all day trying to get the lock ring on, now I'm buying a gear puller and hook it on the hole and press it down . Mitsubishi engineering is 3rd grade level. The hole could have been 1/2 bigger and centered better . I think dealers drop the tank for a extra $1000 they can charge you

    My fuel gauge needle randomly stayed at one place and didn’t move at all for 2 days until i put 10$ of gas and it rose a level but stayed at the same spot
    I am going to buy a fuel sending unit hopefully that helps out my issue

      @Mrpyro187  Рік тому

      I believe this should fix your issue, what happens over time is that the sending unit gauge can get corroded or stuck in a certain spot, this will also happen if the car has been sitting for a long period of time and the metals start to bridge on one another. Then you put fuel in and then you’ll have a dead spot.

    *why did you replace the fuel pump?*

    • @Mrpyro187
      @Mrpyro187  Рік тому

      Hello. I had to replace my fuel pump because the fuel gauge wasn’t working any more. I would fill the tank up to full and it would still show as empty on the needle. After I replaced it, I have yet to have a problem. It works very well. If possible to save some money you could always use a junk yard part. That’s what I did. The fuel pump I bought from the junk yard was super cheap. I think I might have paid like $25. The whole assembly on Ebay, Amazon or even rock auto was well into the $50-$100 dollar range and I was not about that life. Thank you for the reply. I hope this video helped you in some way shape or form. Have a great day 👍😁🫡

      @@Noi_Sy I’m very happy that you were able to save your car. With the prices of gas going up and the price of a new car being severely inflated. I think having a good quality used car is where it’s at.
