This helped me be more comfortable with the procedure but definitely would've been helpful to see you disconnect the bad part. Luckily it was RIDICULOUALY easy lol.
I have a 2013 chevy cruze 6speed same engine my problem is that me car stall but it never shows a engine light I tooking it to 2 mechanic n they don't know what the issues is and I seen on UA-cam that the purge valve is going out but I don't know if that it because it stall in a red light or a stop or when I put gas it dose it alot I need help please thank you
Did the Mechanics record data while driving? Recording Data and Reviewing it later would be key in your situation. But, it almost sounds like a wire like a 5V is grounding since there is no codes. But that would be pure speculation and without checking I really should not make a statement like that.
@jenri majano I took it in to a mechanic and they recorded the data while running and everything and the told me that this cars have something with the fuel system that whenever you fill up the gas tank it messes up with the fuel system and then that also extreme weather's like hot temperatures going to make the car stall or something like that and it's recommended to use premium gas throughout hot temperatures and it resolved the issue in the summer I use premium gas olny and when it gets colder temperature I use regular gas and I haven't had any issues since then... hope it helps you
@@thekidgutierrez7072 sounds like a purge valve issue, replace it and you will be able to use regular again I am thinking. Also find a new mechanic, as they don't know what they're talking about, if the problem was fixed you wouldn't need to put premium in
So could this be a reason why my Cruze idles rough? My rpm meter also goes down and goes back up when it jerks/vibrates when it idles. It’s in the shop right now but the codes that were ran were P0171, P0324, and P2270. The mechanic says it’s the purge valve but I’ve never used this mechanic before and am weary. Any input?
@@ralfsautomotive Well.. drove it for about 20-30 minutes and issue is still there. Service traction control and my stability trak came on as well. 🤦🏻♀️😭
@@laurynnicole8453 They should check misfire history one of the other big things that is ailing these cars is the coils going bad. I have replaced all to many of them that was visually showing spark but do not produce enough power. I am assuming that you have the smaller turbo charged version. Car would not have to be taken to a mechanic for the coil replacement. I would order that from Rock Auto and just replace it, nothing to it.

Was stuck on removing the exhaust line end off of the solenoid. Wish you could have been more helpful there.
