Me and Battlecat are similar: stayed true to himself and focused on the gift 🎁 🎶. It's why I maintenance respect in the hood...the OGs made sure I was protected ALWAYS

Cat is the big brother that I wish I had as a mentor growing up. Such a humble and stand up guy and a musical genius. Respect to the West Coast King.

Rollin 60s hit my hood in the early 80s and I was still wearing red Chicago Bulls and they told me to stop it

Yessir. I grew up around the corner from him on 2nd ave. I looked up to kev because he made me feel less like a nerd since I didn't bang.

I would like to se Battlecat collab with younger artists similar to what alchemist has done there's a whole gen that still likes his sound. Doggystyle from san bernadino comes to mind . He could do strictly collab albums and sign a deal with empire to just do collab albums for a few years.

So coming up, was Battlecat a representer of the RSC? Or being that he lived in that neighborhood/section he was already a member whether he wanted to be or not?
