They're even available as a set. Would love to see a side-by-side comparison using a Turbo Pro & EDFX vs. a classic Turbo CD system.
The Turbo Everdrive Pro will fit into the Pioneer LaserActive attachment if the flash cart's cover plate with the logo is removed. Only HuCard titles will work though of course. The RGB expansion attachments shouldn't conflict with loading the CD games, but they need a slight modification to have the stereo CD audio. Krikzz's new EDFX is a plug and play solution.

it's great that advances in tech (such as FPGAs) are allowing for older consoles to have better and longer lives. Also stuff like the bluetooth module for the Gamecube. And 3D printers are allowing for broken brittle plastic pieces to be replaced in some ways. And there's a little-known console called the Dreamcast by some small company called SEGUHH (not too sure on the spelling, sorry) that is still getting indie games released on it.
There's also new indie games getting released on the Genesis, thanks to software like SGDK. It's a pretty awesome time to be into retro gaming... except for the prices of original hardware and software!

I have both TO cd addons, and this Pro everdrive. The original TO cd addon is decent, but the SHD3pro actually crashes - on CD games only - enough for it to be annoying. TO also took out the audio mixing options on the SHD3pro soon after it released - which was super annoying; I personally like the option to have the CD audio to be louder than stock, and louder than PSG sound fx. The TeD Pro has this feature and I love it. The TeD Pro is MUCH more accurate than the SHD3pro when it comes to CD emulation time too. And it's 100% stable, unlike the SHD3pro. Since I have a retrotink 5x, the HDMI output of the SHD3pro is useless to me. Even more than that, SHD3pro HDMI output is really limited in options compared to what retrotink and other scanline doublers offer nowadays. That leaves the SHD3pro with only one useful feature; the custom palette loading routine. But honestly, original composite running into the tink5x looks amazing especially with the CRT filters. And so does RGB. I guess the SHD3pro does have SGX emulation, but it's geeky and TO seems to have stopped any support for SHD3pro (firmware updates have stopped). I also own an SGX so.. haha. Overall, the TeD Pro is a much better product than the TO solutions IMO. There are some annoyances such as the stereo mod thing, but then again TO solutions aren't exactly annoying free either (stability issues, not officially supporting the US TG16 models, PAL TG models, etc).
