Heeey, Smackbound! I've been waiting singles coming out of their 2nd album. Netta Laurenne (the vocalist in this video) replied my comment a few months ago that they are writing their new album. Loved their 1st album "20/20," discovery of the year for me! The band is established by Netta, so their music is what she loves. She is from the city of Tampere, where also Noora Louhimo lives, and both do music in the same circles, so they became very good friends and recently made an album together. Netta's vocals to mr are softer and darker than Noora's, but as heard here, she also sings raspy.
Indeed where the hell have I been? Sleeping on this obviously. I need more if this! Thank you whoever requested this, and thanks for the excellent reaction Highly!
This is freaking awesome. Smackbound is killing it. Love the singers voice. Smackbound has these straight forward rock/heavy songs but also powerful heart-wrentching ballads like "The Game". Love it. Love it. Love it.
Fantastic! Love the whole message in this song and definitely goes on my playlist.

Yeah it's a good album through and through.
"Wind and Water" is also a fine ballad, my 2nd fav song from the album.
