Hey Dario! Thanks for the instructions! I found on my V2, that I needed the medium size black rubber spacers, not the large ones. I tried to make the large ones work for about 30mins but I couldn’t get them on. The medium ones slid right in and tightened up easily.
Thanks for walking through this install! No doubt, those things look great. But, I'm curious...bar ends are made to be super heavy to help minimize vibration on the bars. With the lighter bar ends, have you noticed more buzzzzzzz in the bars while you're riding?
Keith Spieldenner thanks for the comment... I’ve only rode twice since the install and I have not noticed any difference but others have expressed your same point, so I will be sure to pay extra attention to it as I continue to ride.... if it’s something serious I will put it in a review
But there is a reason why the original are so heavy... Vibration of the twin engine... How is the vibration now on the bars? Thx dude, keep up the work!
@@heydario Ok thanks for the fast reply... If ordered the Rizoma mirror and brake protector, but also ordered the adapters for those 2... Normally they deliver my V2 in January/february... Can't wait! For me its gonna be more for track use. Keep up you work dude, greetings from Belgium!
Hi Dario, very nice video as usual, lots of energy; would have been interesting to know the exact weight difference of the old vs new bar end (measured with something like a kitchen scale); keep up the good work!
How difficult was it getting into the bar? I used the largest black rubber piece and it won’t go into the bar.. did you edit how you hammering it in? 😂
@@lfclsdlfclsd33 that funny you say that, I’m looking at carbon just don’t have a full picture of what I want to do, because I think I would have to paint it, because that black plastic piece would stick out
@@heydario depends how much you wanna spend also ? In the UK their are a lot of websites that cater for v2 no doubt in the US it’s the same ? If you feel you have to paint the plastic bit maybe dip it or wrap it in carbon effect 🤷🏽♂️
@@lfclsdlfclsd33 yea that’s what I’m thinking of... now I’m looking up shops that do good work with it... gotta see the end in the beginning with regards to this part

Thanks for watching!!
Cool install man the v2 is lookin good
Dude_Mungus much appreciated.... I’m tryna get on your level
@@heydario man you there !!!!! Love your v2
Dude_Mungus 💪🏾😎🤘🏾
Awesome vid as always. Planning to install a brake lever guard on my V2. Is there a torque spec after installing it in?
The new bar ends look good. My stock bar ends were torqued super tight from the factory. I was surprised how heavy those little things are.
Yea me too!
🍿 *I am just waiting patiently for the new mirror block off indicators* lol
ridebyben 😂😂😂.... as soon as futurismoto sends em
It bothers me that the red looks different from the "ducati red".
Great energy and content as always. Great stuff!
Oh wow, I'm surprised you were able to use a 12mm hex socket. The proper socket is an M14 triple square socket. Glad you didn't strip it!
Jason Lopez true... I bought a M12 ... and a 12mm hex only to find out the 12 was way too small... but the 12mm fit well, so I went with it 💪🏾😎🤘🏾
Yeah the 12mm hex worked on my 1199
Dope V2 and barends I just received mine for the 959. These should fit the 959 as well?

good job as always! Maybe you should have slapped on some new grips while you were replacing bar ends. :)
ethan van orton lol, I should have!... now j will have to go through the trouble of removing them 🤕 later
Does that mod create more vibration felt through the bars ? 👍🏽
Someone asked me this before and my honest answer is it feels exactly the same.... either that or it’s just me
