This is the 2015-2016 Vocal Jazz Ensemble 1 performing at the JEN Conference in Louisville, KY on January 8th, 2016.
VJE 1 is under the direction of Duane Davis.
This performance features Darmon Meader, singer/arranger/saxophonist, founding member of New York Voices, who is an adjunct faculty member at IU.

The song being performed is the Darmon Meader arrangement "Indiana (Donna Lee)," a weaving of "Back Home Again in Indiana," written by Ballard MacDonald and James F. Hanley, and "Donna Lee," written by Miles Davis. Additional lyrics by Darmon Meader.
This arrangement was written specifically for IU Vocal Jazz Ensemble 1.
