I just want to say a massive thank you for posting this! I saw your video posted on the Woodworking UK Facebook group, soon after I had a biopsy, but only managed to make myself watch it after I got the positive diagnosis for cancer last week. I'm 45 and they so far think I'm T3, I'm going for my bone scan tomorrow and CT next week. I'm trying to stay as positive as possible, but like you say, it's difficult. I hope the op goes/went well for you mate! All the best.

I'm also looking at the Rhetzius-sparing approach (with NeuroSAFE) and noticed there are half a dozen or so surgeons doing it now. I wondered whether you could tell me which surgeon one you went for...
Wishing you well, I caught this video after watching your boat interior build. It just so happens I was at the doctors today for a PSA blood test, last one was six months ago due to cover delays. I'm 65, 66 in just over a month and my biggest fear is loosing the joy and associated pleasures of using that election. I'm also at the stage to consider a refit on an Irish 61ft 9inch × 13ft 3inch wide canal boat so any advise or further videos would be great. Stay strong as we are a band of brothers now all in the same boat. Brave talk, well done.

It’s hard to find a positive in all this but if someone watches this video and gets motivated to visit their GP then it’s been worth it. Like you said in your comment to the follow up video, most men don’t want to talk about this and that’s where I started this journey but I decided early on to own it! I’m no expert, every cancer sufferer will have their own unique challenges and this is just the story of mine. Thanks for sharing it, the more people who see it the better. Wonder if we can get Neil McKinlay to share it as well?
