- DIY Aux 3.5mm headphone jack cable for the Cabasse Auditorium as fitted to some Renault’s... mine has the 6cd changer in the head unit in dash... but the actual amp/wiring is all in the boot... unfortunately unlike the other head unit options this model of head unit hasn’t a Aux socket I can simply plug in (that I can find) as suck no Bluetooth receiver plug in option so need to diy this...
thanks to billytkid for the Instructable!!

Followed this video and the instructable sheet and once I set Aux to ON instead of AUTO, it all worked great 👍🏻
Glad it helped! That’s where I found the advice originally! A great addition to the stock headunit.
… if only the rest of the car was simple to work on 😂
Amazing, ill do this soon with some GPIO connector wires.
This seems exactly like the type of radio I have on mine and I really hope it doesn't have that void slot. I'm quite new at this type of thing and I spent 3 hours googling how to put the aux in my car and only after a long time did I realize I had mistaken the CD player with the radio
Your my hero,it works Perfectly
fucking hell it works man amazing starting from corner Right+earth+left+earth
Gracias funciona perfectamente un saludo
Thank you, my friend, and this is what I was looking for while I was in my car, this same radio. Can I install Bluetooth on it?
I know in the clio there are the two iso connectors hidden behind the cd changer.
merci
Hey mate, thanks for the vid - what specific Renault 2 model did you do this on? I have a convertible Megane 2 CC from 2005 and unsure this will work with mine
Should work if you have the same sound system
Simon smith , first of all your a hero . Do you think that audio connection box out of a clio 3 would fit also ? Partnumber 7711419487 . And or where can I find the same cable as you (pc cable) I have a megane 225 trophy 😉
HI there, why havent you done it bluetooth? you had do get some power, but easy at the back. thanks.
I wanted to work with parts I had already. I certainly would do a Bluetooth adapter in future !
@@Simon78This is what I expect from you, my dear friend, and do not delay in doing so, and you have all my respect and appreciation
Hey mate - thanks for this post. How did you go with the electrical tape connecting the cables? Is that working ok or do you need an electrical connector? Also my amp is under the back seat. How have you managed with a short Aux cable in the boot? Or Do you have it running under carpet to the front?
I’ve got the the six cable running right to front ... works perfectly fine still after all this time. I recommend a thick cable if possible to avoid it wearing on anything.
