Love the way you break the movement down. Makes it so much easier to understand and perform. Have been working in hand with my horse on this movement and have been having some difficulty. This makes it so much easier to understand and perform. Thanks for sharing.
he did an excellent job of explainig totally agree with you. sometimes with my horse young in training we get it and then other times we don't. I can watch this video and feel the feeling and timing of it all.
What I love in this is your tender and profoundly understanding attitude to the animal... :-) And yes, I see that that makes it all the more effective.

Actually... impressive as I find this, my feeling was "Wow! I could never do this. I am sure my horse would not step like this for me." And I think the reason is that I am not awfully clear as to what the end goal is.
I really love the emphasis on going slowly & the explanations of what we will see as "normal" as they learn.
The shoulder in is probably one of the most helpful tools you can have in your training.
Very helpful video. Have been looking for something about this working from the ground. 👍 thankyou 🙏

It is first a straightening exercise.
I can’t understand why people are in such a hurry when training, breath and enjoy the process.
when you say the outside rein is to help the engagement of the hind leg, what do you mean? how does it "connect
