I dig the Meat church shout out. So cool when y'all show some respect for each other. Would be great to see you and Matt do something together sometime.
Usually when people "upgrade" a fast food burger they make a patty that ridiculously obese and under cooked ala Red Robin bloody in the middle and put on way too many ingredients. You focused on quality and flavor. The right amount of sear, 2 slices of smoked bacon and the correct type of cheese. You didn't try to "gourmet" the burger, which is what I appreciate. I think the chipotle ketchup is a bold statement but necessary to properly balance with the baconaisse. Looks like a winner.
Regarding ketchup on a burger, I would agree however, many prefer ketchup but at the same time, "spread" or "1,000 Island" has ketchup in it in limited amount. We prefer yellow mustard, dill pickles, a sweet or red onion slice, a wagon wheel beef steak tomato slice and spread on a bun with a rare to medium cooked beef patty, preferably ground round, chuck or brisket. It's all yum from there.
Chef John, obviously I love your content. Who doesn't? My food wish is for you to do something with pork brains in milk gravy. Just to see what you'd do. Maybe not pork brains salsa, but, you know, something.
It's the processed cheese slice you saw there. And while it has its place (such as in the recipe shown), it really is hard to actually say it's cheese.
I dont think tom has been eating many of these hamburgers lately...bro lookin fitter...lost some weight...beard is trimmed up. Gotta be benching 305 for reps!

Dude, that "Baconaise," as part of a mashed potato, or fully loaded baked potato...I'm giving it a try this afternoon!
YUM, how did it go?
your baconaise recipe is the bomb. I have scrambled some into my eggs before cooking. the bacon flavor comes through
Just made it; you are 100% correct. Gonna top my baconator with some Wickles Spicy Red Sandwich spread.
Damn, Chef Tom is getting those secret gains in. You can tell he's lost some weight!
I see you, Chef Tom! Get those gains!

Your voice, cadence, and volume make you sound just like Matt Pittman!
Thanks for video, interesting burgers recipes and cooking style.
I switched from ketchup to white Duce's Wild sauce. This thing is amazing on burgers.
You had me at bacon! Love the sauce recipe!
We are all bacon lovers
WENDI'S IS JEALOUS !
Looks delicious. If I'm in the lazy mode at home I go for Ken's thousand island on my buger.
That burger looks bonkers! Going to have to try that one soon.
Yes! Let us know how it goes.
That's what I'm talking about! I don't generally care for Wendy's but I'd order this twice a day... Minus the ketchup :)

It sure is!
Somebody please tell Chuck Schumer to watch this video on how to make cheeseburgers.
Let him stew and continue to cook his cheeseburger incorrectly. I wouldn't give Chuck any advise since he isn't capable of receiving any.
Next: Wendy's Chicken Cordon Bleu sandwich consisted of a fried and breaded chicken breast, Swiss cheese, sliced ham, mayo, and Grey Poupon mustard.
Let’s go!!
🔥Woo hoooo
How big is your cutting board?
USA!
I'll be back!
Heck yeah!
Is American cheese just the general name for any low quality cheese or is it actually a specific type?

Can we get an ATBBQ/Meat Church collab or....

So Tom, can it be a taco salad? You wouldn't happen to have a recipe, would you?
