LED Dog Harness Review: Noxgear LightHound (FIVE ⭐)

- Have you thought about getting a glow-in-the-dark LED dog harness, LED dog collar, LED dog vest or LED dog leash to keep your pet safe during evening and night walks? Here's our review of Noxgear LightHound. It lights up in six different color modes (including a bright, flashing rainbow!), and it's waterproof, lightweight, and meant for all-season use. We are also pleased with the long battery life - but have some points of criticism as well.

(Note that this light-up harness has a solid 5-star rating on Amazon, and they also have models available for hoomans 🙂)

The link doesn't work for me , it says " Page not found " .
3:20 - Is LightHound stitching not the greatest? You didn't seem too confident attaching your leash to Harry's LightHound O-ring. My Basset Hound has a low center of gravity and pulls like a bloody truck. He gets his harnesses from a small business based in New York. Sadly they don't make lighted models.
I've never been a fan of the whole RGB trend. But this is the absolute BEST and only legit excuse I've seen to "RGB-ify" something. RGB pups are adorable!
The best video review I have seen !Thank you for putting so much effor in it!
Changing colors is cute and all but GREEN is the most visual
They are both so cute! They sound like little ponies when they walk! 😍
Yea both of you pups are so sweet
Hi there.
I've had my LightHound Dog Harness for several years now.
I think it works great on my Pitbull/Boxer mix.
However, I noticed your harnesses differ from mine such as mine does not have the loop with ring attached or that knob underneath the light unit. It's fine with me because my dog is a strong puller too. I also concur with you about that knob possibly digging into their back and being a design flaw. My harness also lacks that extra long strap for added adjustment. That seems to be a design flaw too. The problem I have is that my dog is 80lbs. and it is rather tight around him even though it's a size L. Not sure I can loosen it further. I was considering getting an XL for him. But after seeing how Noxgear upgraded them in such a flawed way, I don't thing I will.
Excellent review.
One way to teach your dog to stop pulling. When your dog pulls, turn and walk the other way. Every time they pull in one direction, turn the other and walk. It gets tiring and annoying to the dog and if done enough times, they stop pulling after awhile.
yep this. i do a little spin around so he is following me, not leading me. a no pull friend clipping harness helps a lot as well.
Thank you I needed this most use prongs but I want to train my dog naturally
Do you have any tips on how I can get my dog to stop barking?
@@helloohehehe1127 did you find a way to make your dog stop barking?
@@helloohehehe1127 Punch to the face. God bless.
I have this harness too, I agree with all your cons, I'll also add the stitching in important areas, seems on the weak side. I have a puppy 20lbs currently, even with the smallest size harness they offer it really shifts off center left/right on dogs back. My solution was to zip tie this harness to a much sturdier harness I already had, because I really wanted the illumination effects. Would definitely like to see an improved version from lighthound.
Thanks so much for this video! I had a original Noxgear for my blue heeler boy I lost this year. I thought it would work for my new heeler girl but her chest is much smaller. I have to say I kind of like my old school features & build better so far. It does not have that long wad of extra with the Velcro. Which I would not have know what to do with if I had not watched your video btw. The older model doesn’t have the ring at all. I will continue to use my regular Wonder Walker harness under it. I also have a strong puller who’s sometimes reactive to other dogs & need my front chest loop. The other big difference is the charging cable on older model is 5 x the length of the new one. Also in 13 years I never saw a need to launder the thing. It’s only for early AM or night walks so I just never found it necessary. Anyways they are super eye catching & I loved my old one so I am betting I will like this one too.
Those look really cool.
They make walking the doggos in the cold so much better!
❤LOVE YOUR VIDEO made me by one for my little schnauzer
It comes tomarro
😊thank you for sharing the video your dogs are so cool
The green thing that connects the led light parts, can you change the colour of that? Or does it just stay that bright green
it seems like he harness does not stay put, or does it? ty for the review
is there a new link for this product
Oh and I forgot to mention.....
It would behoove you to get one for yourself for your safety as well.
The Tracer360 I mean. Not an actual dog harness. LoL
Works great for me.
so expensive in Canada. Looks awesome
would be nice if it comes with blue and red lights 😁
You say they're one size fits all, but you also say you pick the size for your dog. Having just purchased one, they seem to have a wide range of sizes.
What size did you get for the husky ?
What leash are you using?
More leash training . Get the power steering collars.
I like the idea of the led harness, but havent seen anything that would be worth buying yet.
We did some research before splurging on this one. These seem to work better than just light up collars, which would basically disappear under Jasper's fur 🤣
@@ourfuzzypals8069 Hey do you still recommend the harnesses
The best ring is a non-issue.
Just attach your leash to your dog's collar as normal.
Your right about it not being a big deal. But I wouldn’t say it’s a non issue bc it is part of their design feature that is flawed and need to add a collar instead of using the designed feature
Heated knife= long strap solution.
Review starts at 2:00 most welcome everyone
I watched it all because I'm not a simpleton.
I would afraid of them breaking lose!
Mine stop charging ☹️...money down the drain (2021)
Ours did too. I got in touch with Noxgear customer service, sent my light back and they sent a replacement. Took 10 days. Great service from them.
@@sjhconnors I wanted to get one how has it been so far after getting the replacement
@@Prxsumo It has been great. We are really happy with the customer service. I always recommend these products.
Oh man unavailable
hm
$60 yikes
Your dogs can’t sit and wait and they pull you should get a trainer they could get ran over because you can’t control them.
Take it easy, her dogs seem well behaved to me. She controlled them just fine while trying to multitask making us all this video
Buy and USE the Noxgear harness for humans. Duh! Come on is there an IQ problem here?
I don't go on my bicycle without my Noxgear harness.Ever.
