this is the best family tree ever, i have no idea how you keep track and remember... once they're dead or moved out, i need to resort to screenshots to remember anything they did :x
I guess accidental inbreeding is your specialty xD "Sorry to take up so much of your time" Girrl I just watched the same thing, this time in English, just because I like you rambling on about the sims. I watch everything you post and I am always entertained
Oh, my max is 5 generations, but I still really enjoy watching and influencing the lives of the premades and their descendants. 25:02 with such a glitch, it is worth looking at whether she has hidden traits. In Lucky Palms, I always loved having a child for my female sim with Phoenix Ross and with them and their heirs, there was this glitch because they inherited his hidden pyromaniac trait. Now I've played with families without hidden traits and so far they haven't lost any new traits
Solved the problem of crashes by saving the game frequently thanks to the nraas Saver mod. Every half hour of the game, the mod reminds me to save on a new save without overwriting the old one. For some reason it does, but if I save every half hour I can play longer without crashing
@@RosesTeaAndASD Not really, if you’re confused just watch some tutorial videos. Also, you really only need to focuse on the stuff that you care about in your game.
I had once 7 generations in ts3, never had more 😅 I was going to finish legacy challenge but my hair died when meteorite fell on the school 🤯 and this was the end of legacy 😑
This is a bit late but when you mentioned at 26:55 about Sri/Dimitri’s name changing, I had the same thing when I was trying the 100 baby challenge! I noticed, when I got to around the 60 baby mark, the babies would come out of hospital with one name, but when I checked the family tree within a few hours, they would sometimes have a new name. I have NRAAS Story Progression too, I guessed it might be trying to avoid repeating names. I noticed the names that disappeared were mostly names that were already present in the family tree, so that was my theory! Who knows though 🤷♀️
this is so freaking cool!!! i always wanted to just leave story progression on and see what sims got together and what those families would look like wayyy down the line :) im doing a sunset valley playthrough of just the original families and its genuinely the most fun ive had in a long term sims game, hopping between families and getting involved in all their business 😂
Oh, this just brings back so many fond memories❣ I remember how difficult it was, prior to discovering NRaas mods to generationally progress, because when you played one household, EA's Story Progression would often move out chosen significant others out (out of the world), or set relationships with someone else, before I could further their relationships. Combined with the lag, getting to just Gen 5 was a difficult feat. With Sims 2, I got to 19 generations (and would have made it to 20, had my hard drive and/or SSD had survived). Even after finding NRaas, the lag was still so awful, but now that I have a powerful gaming pc, I will revisit my Gen 7 or 8 (not certain, because I am still in the process of downloading store content), and finish a challenge I began over 2 decades ago lol. I am glad that you did mention about how those who are engaged will forever remain that way. Now I know to get them to the alter. 😂 I really thought that was awesome that the unborns got together, sadly that was not the case in my game, EA moved both families out at one point. 😢
My gen 5 legacy sim was just born and do i have to say, nraas story progression already.. got to work making people who are related within my family tree get romantically involved.
I’m honestly impressed by story progression in this save, I’m doing legacy challenge rn and by third generation most descendants of original families died off and Sunset Valley was full of puddings.
@@Marticore Yeah, and I have it turned on all the time. Usually, the starter Sims have a couple kids, but then it becomes less and less with every generation.
What in the Alabama is this!? Did Senan marry his half-sister or I saw it wrong? 😂 To remember all my Sims I create text documents with their info. My largest family is 12 generations but I used a little "cheat": It started with 8 gens in TS2, then I recreated the last heir in TS3 and continued the family but I plan in doing a long legacy.
I recently started playing sims 3 pc (i used to play console) and when I saw Connor I immediately told my Sim to drop her romantic interest to go talk to him, lmao. Console didn't make guys like that 🤣. I didn't realize this was a known thing for pc users.
Fun fact: This save weighs almost 1GB

that family tree is INSANE 🙈😆
this video makes me want to play sims 3 again now 💚
A family tree teenage me always dreamed of making, don't think I managed to get past gen 4 😂
almost 50 minutes? You are spoiling us!
Wish I could play up to so many generations, but my sims 3 game dies every other minute

@@Tevi_L7151 I'm new to sims3 mods - how do you use this nraas mod?
It looks very complex.

Do you use NRaas Story Progression?
@@Marticore Yeah, and I have it turned on all the time. Usually, the starter Sims have a couple kids, but then it becomes less and less with every generation.
This is Why I love The Sims 3.
The longest i ever did in the sims was early 2nd gen
Either you was addicted or i'm just not that of a fan of the sims
Probably the second option
Some people just get bored with saves and start new ones
i have all game all dlc probably i have been playing since im 12 and im now 30, and i never got farther than gen 3 AHAHA :')
I'm 30 too haha, but I've been playing since I was 9 😆
I'm already on the 5th generation only 5 generations to go.
How do you get the family tree to display all the generations at once ?
Master Controller > Settings > Family tree levels
@@Marticore Thank you soooo much! Wish we had that for TS2 too.
I recommend the Improved Family Tree UI mod! It makes the window a bit bigger and you see more gens at once :D

Do i use regul save cleaner? U should try it to cut down the save size..it really helps with lag with the file gets huge
Tbh I've never used it 😂
watching this because my 10 gen almost 11 gen save file got corrupted and there’s nothing i can do to fix it 😭😭
I can’t stand the way when they die they lose the marriage link - this is something that they should’ve kept in, the prepares do it
bella married malcolm in my save too omg???
this is so cool
How you do it? My game usually crashes in my 5th or 6th gen
Honestly, I don't know
How did you fix the double names
The what?
You mentioned the story progression would give them double names so how did you change the setting
2023 and you can use regul save cleaner to make a new generation :D
Save cleaner won't clean the pudding 😂
@@Marticore is that when all the sims have the same generic face?
@@Marticore save cleaner reduce the save file and delete the cache , delete portraids and reduce lag
