- After finding a gold ring I went on to find a blown out safe deep in the woods next to a stream. Clearly stolen but was there anything inside?

I think the object at seven mins is a scriber, the thing engineers use to mark out metalwork. it has a very hard pointy tip so it scratches mild steel plate.

Very late, but the metal object at 15:10 looks very much like a whistle, and the "squirrel street lamp" looks like a spile.
Looks more like a small grease gun.
Precious gems or semi-precious gems are mounted with air holes at the bottom. There should be a marking for the type of metal as well, either 92.5 Silver or 10K for gold, etc.

Hi DDD, Get a good pair of water shoes when walking the beach. Columbia makes them they are called" Drain Makers". Get a light weight scoop you dont want a 4 pound stainless steel one get an aluminum. Minelab makes a good one.

@7:38 its a old valve tag. They place these on boiler valves in buildings to locate the correct shutoff valves.
That last item looked like an old fashioned medical syringe for treating sexually transmitted diseses.

It looks like it may be an old BSA or Norton frame...Ii would DEFINITELY,beyond a doubt, restore it. Has to be a "Frame Tag" on it somewhere,usually either up front on Left side, or underneath the wide part of the frame...

I think the coin you found with the hole in it is one that is used for like mining token or it could also be for a logging camp I have found a few of those myself

I want to start detecting again, but I live in Michigan, not very conducive to good relic hunting, for any wars, lol. I'd love to go find some civil war Era or ww1 or ww2 relics sometime though. loved the aquachigger comment. I'd also love to go detecting for meteorites are some point :p
Me too, I love in PA and I say the exact same thing verbatim, I've even been tempted to take my metal detector to Gettysburg and go on the outskirts of the park, I bought it 3 yes ago and used it twice and found nothing:( I would love to have a partner to go places, no-one I know is interested. Hey Dan how much is a good quality metal detector and pointer usually combined? I'm thinking of getting them.
That coin with the numbers isn't a coin it's a chip to signify a room number at a hotel and the key latches with a string or something in the hole hope this helps.
That first "buckle" looks like a gun sling hook that would go on a sling I would use for an anchutz .22.

I have a few of those Russian pins. I bought them stuck on a Russian hat at a thrift store here in Florida.. Whatever was on the very front of the hat though has been removed.. It has a few pins for swimming on it.....

If I am correct those circular things with the holes are what people use when they go to work... A long time ago I'm pretty sure when people worked in the coal mines they would have those things and put it on a small hook on a large wood thing (P.S. I saw this in a movie I may be wrong)

That last bit you say might be a grenade or so. I think it's a syringe. Looks like kind I saw on other show I saw a few days ago where they had double secret permission to dig at Thames bank at low tide, obviously, or try the swim skills. Semi-pro scraper lady showed one she found in her collection, and was found near the hangman's pier. She said lotsa sailors took syringes on their floats b/c not able to see doctor for months and had syphilis. Ick boo hiss.
