I'm one of those freaks who prefers to keep my cars all-original (not to mention I'm old). Nevertheless, I find this Legend to be gorgeous even if it's not exactly done to my taste. It appears as if Rob had a very clear image of how he wanted this car to end up before he ever touched a thing on it. Builds that evolve in a haphazard fashion generally look it, and don't tend to wind up anywhere near this nice. Great attention to detail on the part of the owner, who had enough sense to not take things so far that it overwhelms all of the hard work he put into this car. That's impressive.
Yessir my dude you gots to know it and Hondas were everywhere to alongside these Acuras i had a buddy while i was at Ft.Lee back in the end 90's he had an Emerald green Acura 4 dr. sedan with tint..(that's all it needed) and i had an 1991.5 Honda Accord EX 5% limo layered with bronze tinted out, chrome out (body fenders, trunk) car was midnight black w/semi metallic flakes and clear coat and naturally dropped (squatted ass end) awwww man i miss it terribly now i had that RF's (Punch 45) amp matted to a Kenwood cd plyr./Pioneer 12 band graphic eq pushing them 12" kickers and with the music that we had out back then you already kno! ...talkin nuthin nut party central, my homie would park his Acura next to my Honda and we would just admire the cars for what they were and people would come by wanting to ride out whenever we did.
I've got a buddy with a 95 Legend GS Sedan, same color. 6 speed, Type II motor. Parts are really hard to find for this car, and Rob's got like every rare part in the book and he keeps looking for more, respect to Rob that takes a lot of dedication.
Wow! That’s an amazing gem he’s got! I’d really love to own a GS 6-speed down the road or a JDM Honda Alpha Touring Legend. For the GS I’d definitely take a different approach and do full restoration if needed, no modifications. The value of those will increase. So with my base model L I wanted a clean canvas to work with but I also don’t feel too bad cutting into it and creating my own version. The quest continues to find more parts and being able to reach out to enthusiasts around the world with internet is a great thing. Back in the day it was so hard. Appreciate the positive vibes, man! Peace ✌️
Finally have some time to catch up with the latest vids and man they are still awesome to watch! I wanted to have a Acura Legend when I was in high school because it’s such a cool and luxury vehicle and it’s a Honda, it’s pretty pricey back in the days so I couldn’t afford it. I remember the engine of these cars are mounted like rear wheels drive cars so I used to think they can drift, but they are fwd. I still love these cars now and appreciate it when I see one on the road, thanks for the Interview Gus!
Over here on the east coast , the legend is legendary. I always wanted one. I just turned 32 on the 3rd...and I found one a week before my birthday. Up in Boston. It was a 1992 coupe. The interior is about a 9 the exterior is a 8, with 116768 miles on it,I got it for 400 dollars. I drove it almost 3 hours back home no issues...so I'm working on bringing it back and putting my own touch on it
