Exactly, and not everyone is filled with deep pockets or have the shelf space of a museum; people saying they'd pay more, I'd rather not give Lego an excuse to charge more than they should, especially in a world of overpriced dioramas and 18+ sets. Few are comfortable to pay this amount for a Lego set, never mind three figures for any.
I wish they included Kevin and Ellie's chair but you can always build them and add to the set. It's amazing all the detail they were able to get in the set with a small budget.
The biggest missed opportunity imo is not having 2 lego hand prints on the side of the mailbox. Having those 2 C shapes would’ve made this set so much better
Lego releasing this in spite of entries reaching 10k votes for “this idea” doesn’t really matter greatly in this sort of build as it’s not really ‘an original idea’, like the A-Frame or Lighthouse. I respect your view in the sense Lego don’t take a consistent approach on this though (McAllister house, Winnie the Pooh set etc. etc.)
I agree and they could have put green ball pieces on the zimmer frame to make it more like the film. Also they did the Elsa frozen castle set and include everyone apart from Sven. Lego are missing the little details from Disney.
For the price point - the house is great. If it were to be a larger set, the price would have been $100+, and for the Disney event, I think LEGO and Disney want to push out as many sets as possible rather than making expensive and limited.
There are definitely more details they could have added, and the house could have been larger, but that would have meant a more expensive set. The stuff it has is great honestly
Lego should have made the house complete by having the other half of the house and a latch that allows players to open up the house, just like the ghostbusters HQ. Am disappointed that many Lego sets are “half completed”.
I kind of agree. The initial hype is real. But the house is just too small. But missing Ellie’s chair and Kevin is disappointing. The yellow color of the house should have been bright light yellow. Yellow color makes the house look toyish.
i think lego needs to do more sets just like these for Disney
I hope we get minifig-scale Herbie the Love Bug. It’d be interesting to see how they tackle the curves of the VW Beetle
Lego’s done a beetle in the past so it’s possible
@@robertmusgrove4537 but that was at a much bigger scale than a minifig
I hope they make a pizza planet set for Toy Story
I love that they went with this smaller size for the house. Not every set needs to be this huge display.

They probably cancelled them because they were gonna make it anyways
I think this is my favorite set from this LEGO Disney wave!

Thank you, great review. I love this set. I also would have loved to have seen a Kevin it would just of finished off nicely.
Thanks! And I hope we do at some point!
@@Ashnflash Maybe you can do a video on How to build Kevin ?
How could they not include Ellie’s chair? Really disappointed in the size of the house 😢
I agree 😢😢
Stop whining spoiled brats

@@fireflamesization I want Kevin it’s the same as the Flintstones set were, they didn’t include Dino

They could've used an exclusive printed piece for inside Ellie's adventure book.

I have been eagerly awaiting an Up set. Up is my favourite Disney movie. 😁
I’d be happy to pay $40 more for a slightly larger build with the extra chair and throw in Kevin as well.
Tbh I think Kevin could be one set! That would be cool
I really like that hair hat combo
9:49 THE ONE PIEECCCEEE ITS REALLL
I really want they add Ellie’s chair as well, but I think I will buy this set anyway
Awesome video ashnflash
I think this is a really nice set I like it a lot. It’s a fun little set that I can just have on my bedside table

I did it I managed to get one today even though it was a struggle I’m so excited
I want to see someone getting two of this set and completing the house with all the balloons and the other half of the house
I thought the record player in front of the lamp was a old style toilet 😂
Nice set
It would be awesome if they made a second set in a few years with Kevin and Charles
Maybe Alpha too
I've been waiting for this love this movie
GREAT LEGO UP SET AMAZING 👌
Love it! 🎈
I wish Kevin was here
The figures look so good but I wish Russell looked more like he did in Lego Incredibles
Wow a LEGO set of a Pixar film I have and loved
Cool
Now we need a walle set
It would’ve been cool to have Russels chocolate and GPS instead of utensils on his backpack.
All the missing things could mean that we’ll get another up set
april 1st couldn’t get here any slower…
Cooollllo
They should make a ucs version with more detail and balloons
I mean I like the set and all im sad that ellie's chair is not there and ellie and Kevin a mold of her
This lego house is better than my house
I just wish it was a bit more… bigger, for $60
I would have easily paid $200 for a set double the size
I have that set
There’s no Kevin
I am really dissappointed about this set honestly. The house is so little it is a shame

This is the one real Pixar set we've gotten since 2010. That's sad. It is a good set, though.
Too bad they didn't include a Kevin figure
$47.99 at Costco
Ay
Russell needs to be more rotund.
pov no kevin
I love how this "early review" came 2 weeks after non-LAN members have already reviewed it
Anything prior to April 1st is early...
Gotta say … you’re now the go to LEGO youtuber … besides jang
J2g is acting weird now on his videos
It’s very fake
The mini figures face just don’t make me think relevant to the animation…
🥕🥕🥕🥕🥕
Yaa love this film awesome review
Where is Kevin?
Definitely should have had Kevin.
