This is such a small detail, but the way Randall doesn't close the door all the way when he shares a conversation with Deja. Respecting her past and making sure she feels okay in her space, he is a wonderful father
I know! I noticed that too! And the way he crouches on the floor instead of standing or sitting on her bed. So he's not towering over her, or invading her space. They're such small details, but he gives her the higher ground by being on the floor while she's on her bed. I love the small details in things like that...
I was so glad Dasia mother recognized her selfishness and put Dasia needs first. And I really loved the way Beth made her mom feel welcomed with open dialogue.
wow, what a scene, there are people that adopt these kids that have had these kinds of upbringing, and give them a second chance on happiness , for all those people that do this selflessly, bless them!
The scene shows the devastation of a mother who can't care for her beloved child and the foster parents who deeply understand the pain of the mother and their dear foster daughter when she learns of her mother's final abandonment. Incredibly sad.
I'm no contact with my mum because she wasn't as selfless as dejas mum. She didn't want me. She should have left me on a doorstep somewhere. Instead she just tortured my insides. I respect the mothers who know their limits.

Yes❤ Everything about him as her father is about her ❤
@@Danielnwa042worshipping? All they did was comment on the direction detail. Sheesh. People are so negative and angry.
That was the first thing I noticed as well. How respectful.
I thought the same thing with that detail

I teared up at that phrase 😭

Me 2... DEEP!!!
5 seasons of this show so far. And I need just one hand to count the number of episodes I did not cry on. Both happy tears and sad.
Randal has such a big heart 😭😭😭 girldad 😭😭😭
I love how he doesnt sit in the bed with her to respect her space
He gives her power by sitting at her feet. That's why she opened up. Subconsciously, she knew he was there to listen to her.
"Hibiscus droopus"🤣🤣😂🤣😂🤣🤣😂🤣🤣🤣🤣😂
Randal & Beth are good people
!Deja, my favorite character of this is us!
