Interesting. I play France a lot, really love to stop the Huns. I never start with Devaluate the Franc, but prefer to rush removing Disjointed Government. But sure it works, I'll try your opening. I never build forts, though: 48 capable divisions against the low lands invasion are enough to stop them. Also, if I may: you probably enjoy your way to move the units, but using battleplans gives a non-negligible bonus to your divisions: you can definitely shorten this war by 2 years.
@@Stouzough I just got done with a Czechoslovakia game. The only way to break the German line was an all out battle plan. I ended that run with 1.7 million casualties. Thing is I could not stop the offensive or the Germans would have just dug in and bogged me down.
Nice video, I watched it all and I thought you had 10k subs but then I scrolled down and saw that it's only 22 (now 23 :)) - amazing quality for such a small channel
I did this strat and everything was fine. I was hoping to bleed the axis of their man power but oh boy guess who joined the war? Switzerland! I had no forts or anyone guarding that line. Aaaagggghhh there goes another good save
IDK about historically, But i was able to defeat Germany as France by late or mid 1942, but the strat is always: -Rush to remove disjointed government first, and form the little entente with Czechoslovakia, Poland, and Yugoslavia. - Start building Mils with an occasional Civ factory, France has a big industry, and later in the game civs are added through the devalue the frank tree - France is big enough to not rely on anti air, you can build an air industry with new mils. - Start the war in 1938 like a chad, invade and hold Moselland immediately. The German AI will go nuts and throw everything at you, you can easily hold by rotating divisions and micro managing. This drains all their man power. - Poland and Yugoslavia are pretty much sacrificed and used so Britian can join the war, Czechoslovakia holds on the longest. - By holding Moselland Germany will never invade the Netherlands, only Belgium, which can be easily defended by placing another army there. - Once Italy joins, which is usually by 1941, just hold the alpines with forts and take libya, which is really easy. - Naval invade Sicily with a motorized and regular offensive army and they should capitulate within a month. - Wait for Soviets, Brits, or Americans to fill in the front lines, then focus all your offensive armies up the rhine land, then to Berlin - War is over Pretty much Bleed Germany and quickly take out Italy. This was all done with 3, 20 division "Offensive" armies, one was motorized and i raised a 4th one to push into Berlin. 2 "Defensive" armies in Mosselland and another in the alpines, and a small maginot garrison.
i personally prefer to take revive the national bloc over form the popular front since it gives you access to laissez-faire's 3x 150% industry research bonus and you don't have to deal with reform the labour laws's consumer good factories, but otherwise a great video for sure!
I prefer producing light tank aa with bulldozers, and smoke grenades just to give my infantry units some more entrenchment, hardness, a tiny amount of piercing, and air attack. I’m still debating on whether it is better to go for SPAA or TD’s. I do not do this for all of my divisions. Just a few good ones to help hold critical tiles.
great tutorial man! though for me, its either bad luck or something but germany always declares war on the swiss and the entire front begins to fall apart. aughghghhdfdsfngmg
what divisions did you use? I know you said in the beginning that you relied on infantry to defend but what templates? The colonial ones just so you had the numbers?
I was literally looking for a France guide that was not 1 year old and found this video. Great stuff!
No problem! Hope you enjoyed
why dod y1ou meed a guide not a year old
actually it is 1 year old
I LOVE THE MAGINOT LINE!!!!!
Funny you should say that. I HATE the Maginot line. The Siegfried line is the clearly superior line. Don't listen to this propaganda.
@@austinweeks7498Nuh uh, the Molotov line is the greatest of them all!

Thanks for the advice, the method in this video for sure works, but you’re right with regards to efficiency, maybe I’ll make an updated one soon.
I like the challenge of having under a million casualties mate. Battleplanning is for the Soviet and China players.
what are capable divisions, like what template
@@CMAzeriah Precisely: making a battleplan enables planning, which gives your armies a bonus to lessen the casualties.

How do you have that many divs when I play France I can only equip like halve of those
glad to tell you that I got this via algorithm!
Thank you!
Do this as poland
I wanted to see how you evolved your division templates along the way.
Germany declared war on the swis in my game and surrounded the magenol line
What doctrine are you going with on this? Grand battleplan for the entrenchment?
but it's impossible to beat Germany "Historically"
that is true, I was referring more to following the historical in game focus tree. BTW I love your videos!
I kinda do this with every nation, France?
Forts
Soviet Union?
Forts
Albania?
Forts
Luxembourg?
Forts
Nice
I heckin love forts
Ah yes viva la Francosphere 🇫🇷 😎👍 🗿👌
Can u do Italy and how not to die late game
for sure!, I'm going to be on a little trip but when I get back ill try to solve it!
what divisions did you use? I know you said in the beginning that you relied on infantry to defend but what templates? The colonial ones just so you had the numbers?
Colonial for the magino since it’s already defended and infantry with 2 artillery battalions
Since this is against the ai u can get away with different divisions
Very cool
thank you!
I defeates germany 1943 on my first time playing france😂
What music did you use in the montage
It’s called la synth wave or something if you want I can link it
