The Challenger has the bad ass hotwheel looks, especially in the SP WB with 305s. The interior is larger. The dash is way better, especially since Ford now put in stupid ass ipads that look 100% out of place for the gauge cluster. Overall, when you slow and and really side by side all the modern sports/pony/muscle cars, the Challenger stands alone. Does not have to be the fastest, but it is the last car standing from the old muscle era. Even the new vette is goofly futuristic.
No doubt the challenger and charger are the best looking muscle cars out there but if you can’t beat the 10 speed 5.0, it’s slow… And now they got rid of them. Got rid of my 392 because it just left me wanting more and the price to make a 392 a second faster was a lot of work and a lot of money.
I agree.. I went with a used 17 GT Performance Pack and I am super happy. I found a 1 owner PP1 GT with only 8,909 miles on it. Ford does give you more for less money for sure..

I traded a Mustang GT for a Charger Scatpack. Now I can carry 4 passengers and an ice chest at the same time. Oh, and the Charger has a metal oil pan and drain plug unlike the Mustang GT's plastic ones. Still like your videos, though.
@@tlitesworld Challengers look nice. However, I don't like their blind spots. And if they come with a sun roof, you lose some head space. The sun roof on the Charger don't seem to do that. But I have to admit that the trunk amp on the Challenger with the Harmon is sexy. The amp is hidden under the rear seat in the Charger.
Okay… dodge makes boats 🛥️… why would you want something slow and heavy? Grab your self a base model mustang gt. Do FBO and e85 make sure you get the 10r80. You will be around 480-500hp. Add cams and you make 550-560hp. This alone with weight reduction is gapping a hellboat. I know this because it was my setup before I went hellion twin 64s kit. I never use to race anything mopar because it was either a gap or a waste of gas for me. E85 burns so quick I was filling up everyday. Coyotes are meant for boost. Look it up. They are the best v8 motor to boost for cheap. I’m in south Florida and I was tuned my PBD but switched to LUND.
Good points but let’s be real here, hellcats are great mod car as well as the 5.7 Hemi. The 6..4 is the only motor that is not great or even good for mods. But you have some great points my friend 👍

You can make 700 on 93. Buy the kit for e85 and make 750-800 to the tires. Hellboat makes 640-650hp to the tire when dyno on 93. Keep in mind the weight of it. I’d say everything mopar makes is great for takeovers and burnouts. You want to track and drag and roll race your daily I’d go with a mustang or vette with boost. You don’t see 7 second hellboats… I don’t even mention the 5.7 RT. Most ford fans and people who boosted their dailies or made a race car know coyote is king for going fast. Mustang base model gt is like $35-40k plus supercharger kit is $4-6k plus fueling and tune your all in around $50k for 700-800hp daily that can gap everything mopar makes. Aerodynamics and weight is key. Thanks for listening as I have owned a c6Z and currently driving my 1200hp(on highest map) coyote.

I love my manual convertible mustang. I get looks with the top down because it's stylish. I love manuals so i have fun. I still think the challenger is real cool and would love to buy one but they are expensive right now. Also if the challenger came with the convertible option I'd bet they would have sold more than the mustang.

There are much better cars out there that are used for less than half the price. $60 grand for a car that is useless in most situations. Mustang can't tow, or carry 5 adults, useless in winter, plus pay the 10% interest on the loan. A Challenger at least meets most situations, it can carry 5 adults, and it also has on many models, all wheel drive.
In most situations a 2 door coupe is made for 2 people with the option to carry 2 more people. That is what I am talking about, which one do you get the best bang for your buck

@Westlyn80 it's actually fully loaded bought it in 2020 has the alcantara seats just no sunroof. Even with Mark ups 100k for a 392 is an exaggeration. Brand new 392s around me go for 50-60k depending on options. Mustang gts go for the same here. But the dark horse is selling for 80k here that's nowhere near worth that for just 500 hp imo.

There's a reason why people don't line up the regular 5.7 hemi with a mustang n that's cause it loses. the 392 either keeps up with it or beat the stang. due to basic launching reaction issues. Dark horse is a special edition that's been marked up n something I wouldn't buy unless it's used. Yet, I do have friends that'll allow me to use their ford discounts whenever I'm ready to buy again.
@Westlyn80 personally I find stock 5.0s and 392s slow. My hellcat is making 980 whp anything under 700 is not that impressive. These cars including mustangs are too heavy need a lot of power to make them what I'd call fast. And in the end the viper is still the undisputed king of the road and track pun intended.
Challenger is kind of a piece of crap. Door handles dont work, windows rattle, plastic interior creaks, plastic bottom panel under the doors gets ruined in a few thousand miles, rock chips down the sides, omg.. charger feels like a Mercedes compared to a challenger

After my 2nd challenger I started joking with my dealer that I'm not accepting this new car unless the steering wheel is crooked and several body lines are off. I had 2 challengers with crooked stripes, one bumblebee stripe and one ta stripe. My 19 redeye had the most awful plastic creak right behind the driver's seat that couldn't be solved. My 18 had one crooked back seat that was stitched incorrectly. My demon 170 had crooked steering wheel, a pop from the steering wheel, door handle would sometimes just not work at all, trunk light did not work, it would hold gears forever and just refuse to upshift under normal driving, it idled at 1000rpm. I traded it back in after 3 months on a charger that I hope to keep for a long time this go round
No issues with MY 2023 Challenger widebody Scat nor my 2020! So I've had 2 & enjoyed the car! Charger is a longer wheelbase heavier car, larger car, different ride....

4 years I've had my challenger hellcat and I've never had any of the issue's you just listed.
