You may have gotten it, but just in case : Violet was both Jenny's and Screech's mother. They were twins. Likely separated when Violet died because they certainly couldn't go with their abusive father, Stevie. So they grew up separately. Screech had no idea he was mugging his twin sister. It speaks to how things seem to just go in cycles. Screech and Jenny both products of their abusive father and abused mother. Continuing it along. I'm so glad you reacted to this. I just wanted you to see this aspect of Ren. I REALLY think you should also check out the other song I recommended in my coffees. You will DEFINITELY be drooling over Ren with that one. Ren got the idea from a news paper he read about a 14 year old boy that kill a streetwalker with a knife Jenny had the traits of her mom and Screech had traits of his father

That is a fantastic idea. I actually think if you did that you could make money from it. It could be a gag gift or a proper gift from your partner. Maybe you should do it. You never know. I say go for it.

Hi sweetheart. Once again, thanks for another great video. I have actually heard this song before and what it’s about is an ex-girlfriend of his that still likes to play games with him. First she likes him and wants him back and then she hates him and kicks him out, so every time he calls her she plays games. I just love how it starts off sounding a little bit country and then goes into kind of Ska/reggae and then he goes off on the Spanish guitar, which was absolutely amazing. Thank you so much for the good laugh with you because your laugh is so infectious and I cannot believe you actually have pink knee pads! 😂. Those are awesome. The funny thing is, like I said to you once before that if you ever came to the UK, my door would always be open to you and there would be a cuppa coffee waiting but as a joke present to give to you I would actually buy a nice set of kneepads for you, because you keep on about them. The last one Violets Tale she died but they were able to save her babies she was pregnant with twins. The babies are raised by different families. Screech doesn’t know Jenny is his sister when he robs her and kills her. The cycle of violence continued 😊
Someone else will probably explain it better than I did but it’s basically what it’s about. I don’t think it’s a true story if I’m not mistaken it’s inspired by a short story .😊

Did you get the story? Screech kills Jenny--The police kill Screech---then Ren rewinds time from 2019 to 2005 to tell Violet’s tale--Violet is killed by Stevie after giving birth to her twins who turn out to be Jenny & Screech who were obviously raised separately and Screech didn’t know he was robbing and killing his twin sister Jenny.
It was a little hard to follow as your synching was off by about 2 beats as we could hear the video from your headphones. Good reaction thoug.

Jenny's tale is about Jenny meeting Screech in an alleyway and being too afraid to move, which sets Screech off. Screech Kills Jenny in his anger.
Then we have Screech's tale where Screech has realized what he has done and begins to freak out. He runs to a friends house (Patrick) to try and hole up but Patrick is not home (from other videos it is revealed that Patrick MIGHT be having an affair with Screech's girl and that might be where he is when Screech tries to get help). Then Screech calls his girl to try and hole up with her but she is "busy" (see the info on Patrick before this). At that point the cops show up and Screech, in a fit of bravado/desperation, charges them. Screech is shot four times in the chest and expires.
Violets tale actually takes place over a few years but 14 years in the past. It begins 14 years before the other two parts but then time is rewound to explore what makes Violet, Violet. She is abused by her Father and her mother does nothing about it so, while remaining silent, Violet moves out when she is able. Unfortunately, she meets Stevie who is another bastard. He beats her almost to death but freaks out in the end and Violet makes it to the hospital where she gives birth (Is the father Stevie or Violets dad? We never really find out) to the twins, Jenny and Screech. Violet does not survive the beating and birthing so without a mother, and likely without a father (fled or prison), the twins get put into the system, never to meet until that fateful day of Jenny's tale.
The whole concept was conjured up by Ren but Jenny's tale was inspired by real news of a young girl killed by a young punk and the end of the story about it being such a shame shows how we have become desensitized to such violence. Ren took that desensitization and decided to amplify the horror 100 fold to really make it "such a shame" and make us think about the true meaning of that little throw away phrase.

@@kshavon3098 You seemed to be following along well. I'll admit Ren's use of a few Welsh/English slang terms and accent can throw some off the track. My oldest went to school in Glasgow Scotland so I'm used to being confused or trying to piece what sounds incoherent, to my ears, together . I've also listened to "The Tales" multiple times and eaten up a ton of content from Ren and others, surrounding "The Tales". I only know what I know from Ren interviews/posts and watching Screech's IG story on Ren's YT channel, along with "The Tales".

You seemed to miss much of this, including the twist. You looked like you were waiting for it to end, rather than paying attention. From the title, it looks like you picked some of it up later, probably from the comments. I'm not sure you realised that you were listening to a masterpiece. Ren has quite a few masterpieces to choose from and this is definitely one of them. Ren's work tends to range from 'great', to 'exceptional' to 'out of this World'. No matter the genre, (and he does them all) he doesn't really miss. :)
