Ethan's "adopt a dad" advice may sound weird, but it's not as bad as it seems. I'm 32 and for some reason my friends keep bringing me 20-somethings who have had awful childhoods with terrible parents, and within a week they're calling me dad (and not in the creepy/kinky way, no shame, just not my preferred kink). @@mattybrunolucaszeneresalas9072 Both jacksepticeye and crankgameplays have diagnosed ADHD. Often, people who have ADHD symptoms or people who have diagnosed ADHD, gravitate towards people who have ADHD or people who are neurodivergent, towards chaos because our brains are chaos. It's the matching vibes that makes this podcast so great! Additionally, watching Jack and Ethan pause and try to remember what they're saying or trip over their words, or get distracted and bounce off each other's ADHD is very relatable! Hope this helps explain ❤
@@mattybrunolucaszeneresalas9072 Neurodivergent is an umbrella term for people with Autism, ADHD, tourettes, intellectual disabilities, dysclaculia, dyslexia, Bipolar, schizophrenia etc etc. It's a broad term that includes all mental disorders and neurodevelopmental disorders. It is used to describe the fact that neurotypicals (people who do not struggle with these disorders) work differently than neurodivergent brains. This is a relatively new term so I'm not surprised you're unaware.
@@mattybrunolucaszeneresalas9072 Okay, I'll entertain the idea you have ADHD for a second. Maybe you do have it and you're sick of people making it into a quirky personality trait, and you think that Jack, Mark and Ethan are faking it for clout, and that you think the people commenting are making ADHD a trend? In which case, you could've just said that and I would've replied "yep, I hate it too, it sucks when people do that. ADHD is not a personality trait, however, people with ADHD can pick up on ADHD in other people. It's natural to gravitate towards a person or a group who is familiar and relatable." Like it or not, not all people mask their ADHD. Some people display their symptoms and those symptoms bleed into their personality. I predicted my friend had ADHD and sure enough, he was diagnosed last month. It's kinda similar to a gaydar, you just pick up on the vibes and signs because they're similar to your own. It's fine if you don't understand what that's like, but you need to stop invalidating people and shutting them down. What these people were saying, and what I'm saying, is that we like Jack, Ethan and Mark because we relate to parts of their personality. We find parts of their ADHD funny, comforting and familiar, and it's nice to know we're not alone in our struggles (like when Ethan mentioned object permanance). It's nice to hear the bad and the good sides of ADHD. If you still disagree, or blatantly refuse to accept they've all been diagnosed with ADHD and have discussed it multiple times in multiple videod, then whatever, thats your choice to be closed minded. I'm mainly just trying to understand why you felt the need to do that, I'm trying to see your perspective because I'm just confused, bewildered and intrigued about your thought process. Unless you're a troll, who knows..
as someone with a peanut allergy i will 100% buy ethans protein bars if they come out, its so hard to find ones that taste good and also dont have peanuts
This was fun. The only suggestion I have is to utilize time stamps. They are invaluable for folks like me, who don’t often watch the entirety, to go to the section I’d like to hear. Best of luck! Memento Mori - Parte Deux.
Ethan and Sean have always been two UA-camrs who just vibe with my neurodivergent brain so well, the fact that we’re getting combined content of just the two of them nonstop is going to be the greatest ever. These two have never been more relatable, these conversations are going to be the best

I love Brain Leak as a podcast name. It's unique, easy to remember and catchy. I also think the logo is gonna look SICK on merch. Always nice to hear more candid conversations as well!!
Ethan is too relatable. Im in my mind 20s with no taste for "clubbing" or any of that stuff, but I also sorta feel like it's something I should've done cause it's a thing people do
Seán: “We should take all the allergens” Also: Seán: “We should take a pain threshold test” Also, Also Seán: “We should eat Cicadas” The podcast should clearly be called “Jack tries to kill Ethan”
You guys are so good at bouncing off of one another, either your edits are really sneaky or you hardly have moments of dead air! An absolute treat to find in the podcasting world.
I would love these episodes to be like "brainstorming" sessions. Like a behind the scenes how you come up with plans for what you can create and then piece it all together before a "final project" video. It would be SO COOL to see behind the curtain of how you guys do what you do.
After Unus Annus Ethan might have thought he was safe from Mark's NOT masochistic videos And now Sean out of nowhere: We should do a pain tolerance test to find out who can get the most paddle slaps on the ass
Sean, I have the same problem with my hair being more gray, I thought it was a rare problem that no one had. Hearing you say you have it too and dye your hair a lot too, it makes me feel a lot better. I really look up to you for years ❤❤❤
@@mattybrunolucaszeneresalas9072 Oh its you again Markiplier, Ethan and Jacksepticeye have all been professionally diagnosed with ADHD, so yes, they do. Their ADHD leaks into their content, they don't socially filter it out. Just because the podcasts are not directly focused on ADHD, doesn't mean it isn't there. Jack and Ethan mentioned their ADHD in this episode if you missed it.
@@mattybrunolucaszeneresalas9072 Soooooo just to recap. You asked people to explain why they are mentioning ADHD and connecting their ADHD to Jack and Ethan. But whenever anyone, including me, explained, you shut them down and invalidated the fact Jack, Mark and Ethan have ADHD. "Nuh uh!" Is not a valid argument and makes me suspect you're a troll. I provided genuine evidence, time stamps of Ethan and Jack mentioning their ADHD, and you still shot me down. So goodbye, I am not interacting with you. They have ADHD, some of the audience does too. Deal with it and cope 😂❤
This is funny because literally just last night I was thinking Ethan should do a big collaborative project where he and someone else do smth together (like Unus Annus) because I feel like his best side is brought out when he’s working with other people, he just, to take his words, bounces off them really well. And then they started a podcast 😭 genuinely so excited for this
Wow. I was 13 when I started watching Jack's videos, and 16 when I started watching Ethan, and now I'm 21, and listening to their perspectives and stories about their 20's really puts things into a different perspective, in a good way of course haha, it's like I've grown laughing at their jokes, and now I get to actually learn about their life lessons and listen to deeper conversations about interesting topics (with jokes included, of course). You guys are amazing, and I can't wait to see what you come up with together. Much love from your forever fan❤

Brain Leak is an awesome name. Feel like it fits both of them well. Also, Sean I respect you MORE for sharing real stories from your twenties. I have been that drunk, and I can relate. I'm 34 now and also feel like lockdown changed the beginning of my 30s. Idk it feels like time froze for 2 years basically. Messes with your head. I will say that 30 is basically what you make of it. Being excited for it is great Ethan, but it's just like anything else, nothing magical happens when you turn 30. You have to put in the work to get where you want to be. There is a huge difference from 20 to 30 though, mental growth wise.

@@mattybrunolucaszeneresalas9072 AGAIN. Seriously dude. Did you listen to the podcast? They mentioned they both have ADHD. Mm same! My friend recently was diagnosed with ADHD and is struggling with finding the right meds, and his object permanence is CHRONIC. Additionally, watching Jack and Ethan pause and try to remember what they're saying or trip over their words, or get distracted and bounce off each other's ADHD is very relatable! Hope this helps explain ❤
@AmieMorley-st6tz no and that doesn't answer my question. Dafuq does neurodivergent mean. As someone with adhd that doesn't sound right at all
@@mattybrunolucaszeneresalas9072
Neurodivergent is an umbrella term for people with Autism, ADHD, tourettes, intellectual disabilities, dysclaculia, dyslexia, Bipolar, schizophrenia etc etc. It's a broad term that includes all mental disorders and neurodevelopmental disorders. It is used to describe the fact that neurotypicals (people who do not struggle with these disorders) work differently than neurodivergent brains.
This is a relatively new term so I'm not surprised you're unaware.
@@mattybrunolucaszeneresalas9072
Okay, I'll entertain the idea you have ADHD for a second.
It's natural to gravitate towards a person or a group who is familiar and relatable."
Like it or not, not all people mask their ADHD.
Ethan...if you release your own brand of peanut free protein bars, PLEASE, you gotta call it 'NO NUT protein bars'
as someone with a peanut allergy i will 100% buy ethans protein bars if they come out, its so hard to find ones that taste good and also dont have peanuts
I’d buy em just cuz I don’t fr like peanuts
I legit didn't realize how similar in vibe and personality Sean and Ethan are until watching this. I love this setup 👏 bring the chaos lads
the podcast should be called chaos lads 😂
This was fun. The only suggestion I have is to utilize time stamps. They are invaluable for folks like me, who don’t often watch the entirety, to go to the section I’d like to hear. Best of luck! Memento Mori - Parte Deux.
i hope they see this!
Jacksepticeye looks like archeologist now I love the look
Omg 😂 he really does and I’m so here for it 😍
He reminds me of a young Eric Clapton.
i love daniel jackson!
Ethan and Sean have always been two UA-camrs who just vibe with my neurodivergent brain so well, the fact that we’re getting combined content of just the two of them nonstop is going to be the greatest ever. I am so excited to get into it all 🥰💖 so pumped guys!!
THE OBJECT PERMANENCE WITH PEOPLE IS SO REAL ITS NOT FUNNY. I HAVE 17,228 EMAILS.
the texts are so real also, I just. These two have never been more relatable, these conversations are going to be the best
We’re not special. No one is special. Also the email things are stupid adverts that I keep coming. But texts and messaging apps. Never I’m always on top of that
Sean : We’re not your dads , we’re your Daddies 😏
Ethan : *horse noises*
I love Brain Leak as a podcast name. It's unique, easy to remember and catchy. I also think the logo is gonna look SICK on merch. Always nice to hear more candid conversations as well!!
Ethan is too relatable. Im in my mind 20s with no taste for "clubbing" or any of that stuff, but I also sorta feel like it's something I should've done cause it's a thing people do
Tbh why do it if you don’t enjoy it
Honestly, I'm in the early half of mine and I'm still the same
I don’t see the appeal
Me: "Mom, this is that cute, wholesome UA-camr I told you about."
Seán: "... then I scooped the shit out of my pants and into the toilet..."
😂😂😂

WHAT!?!
I really want to see a video of Jack and Ethan sitting at a table and going back and forth with stupid names for over an hour. Make it happen boys!
Seán: “We should take all the allergens”
Also: Seán: “We should take a pain threshold test”
Also, Also Seán: “We should eat Cicadas”
The podcast should clearly be called “Jack tries to kill Ethan”

You guys are so good at bouncing off of one another, either your edits are really sneaky or you hardly have moments of dead air! An absolute treat to find in the podcasting world.
I would love these episodes to be like "brainstorming" sessions. Like a behind the scenes how you come up with plans for what you can create and then piece it all together before a "final project" video. It would be SO COOL to see behind the curtain of how you guys do what you do.
That is an amazing idea! I love it!
We should have a segment where Ethan just reads one of his emails… word for word
Sean's Ethan impressions is spot on. amazing
Damn I love this podcast and its awesome to see Ef and Jack in the new hit podcast "Jackin' off and Efin' Around"!
no stop that's actually such a good name for the podcast
Yes I love that name
Get this comment pinned wtf
I love this!
Too good lol
Sean : “I don’t know I’ve never done the drug before!?”
Ethan : “mm hm 😃”
I know what you are Ethan
Literally after his match he said he’s gonna go to the Bahamas and smoke weed and get drunk. Respect honestlly
I had already guessed that Eef smoked weed. I'm actually surprised Sean hasn't.
hes "smoked" on stream before
@@chocolatechipbreadcrumb he deserves it

After Unus Annus Ethan might have thought he was safe from Mark's NOT masochistic videos

From one very ADHD podcast "Distractible" to a second "Brain Leak"?? I'm very blessed, I will be watching every episode religiously from now on

Markiplier, Ethan and Jacksepticeye have all been professionally diagnosed with ADHD, so yes, they do.
Their ADHD leaks into their content, they don't socially filter it out. Just because the podcasts are not directly focused on ADHD, doesn't mean it isn't there. Jack and Ethan mentioned their ADHD in this episode if you missed it.

@@AmieMorley-st6tz Sure Jan. Would you stop saying that?
@@mattybrunolucaszeneresalas9072
Soooooo just to recap.
And then they started a podcast 😭 genuinely so excited for this
I’m SO excited for this podcast and videos of Ethan and Jack hanging out together and doing stuff!!!
Same. I love them both, so I know this be a comfort pod. 💚
Yeah its crazy, i started watching Jack in 2017 i believe and literally grew up with him. Im also almost 21 now. I dont know the bro but i feel like he is my genuine older brother lmao.
I'm 21 but a new fan and started watching when I was 19. They helped me through quarantine❤
Knowing what has happened since this was filmed, Ethan winning Creator Clash and Sean's TOTM coffee rebrand unveil went so well does indeed date this episode a bit. XD So proud of these two guys and how far they've come!
Anyone else immediately think about them going to a haunted place with Sam and Colby when Seán brought up wanting to go to a haunted castle??
YES
I forgot how dark both Sean and Ethan’s humor becomes when they’re together 😭 Loved this ep so much, thank you for keeping me company on my morning run! Looking forward to the next episode, Sean and Ethan Devastate the North American Ecosystem ☺️

And today we learned that Sean's impression of Ethan is spot on.
I do have to say, Sean with long hair gives an eccentric history professor vibe for sure and I'm here for it. Also dry shampoo can help absorb the oils and make your hair look less greasy! Take from someone who inherited their mother's poly hair genes ☠️
There is a huge difference from 20 to 30 though, mental growth wise.
not even three minutes in and my heart is overflowing with pure joy
10 outta 10 best pilot episode. I laughed so hard, my husband came to see what all the commotion was. I think your recurring bit should be trying to get Ethan's notifications down and respond to some of those damn text messages. 10:31 I'm dying over here with Ethan questioning Sean's fishing boat logic 😂😂😂
Ethan committing to saying the questions email will be shown on-screen then immediately suggesting he isn't sure if the video version of the episode will ever see the light of day is a mood.
I started watching Jack when I was 9 years old, i’m now 19- i started watching Ethan a bit later but no less I want to thank you guys and tell you I’m very grateful for this podcast and the comfort and confidence you’ve given me over the years. @@mattybrunolucaszeneresalas9072
AGAIN. Seriously dude.
Did you listen to the podcast? They mentioned they both have ADHD. Ethan mentioned one of his symptoms is object permanence, which is a very common symptom of ADHD. ADHD is not an excuse, it's simply an explanation for why certain people struggle more than others and need to try TWICE as hard to be "normal." Our brains are not wired like yours.
@@mattybrunolucaszeneresalas9072
This commenter said they experienced a lot of guilt and shame about their object permanence. Which means they're not using it as an excuse, because they felt terrible about it. There is a difference between being lazy and having ADHD.

Are you one of those people who don't believe in neurodevelopmental disorders and mental disorders or something?
Mm same! My friend recently was diagnosed with ADHD and is struggling with finding the right meds, and his object permanence is CHRONIC. He's a lot better now but before with school and life and everything he wouldn't message, but he would make up for it by hanging out in person. Now that he's been diagnosed, I know he never did it on purpose, and our friendship is stronger than ever :DDDD
My partner also struggles with ADHD symptoms although he's undiagnosed, but he does have Autism and struggles with reaching out to friends due to anxiety and overstimulation. It can be rough, man. Hang in there, you're doing fine ❤
