How did you overcome the power drop between 3000 and 6000 rpm without removing the valve system? I have exactly the same exhaust with a PC6 mapped for it. but 3000 to 6000 rpm is still awful
I have not overcome the issue, yet. While I do notice something similar, I guess for me it's tolerable. 20 years ago I wouldn't be able to sleep. I choose the trade off of form over function. Have you posted videos of your setup?
That htev valve made me go from loving to hating this bike with a passion wasted time and money looking for an exhaust for this bike just to realize I need to spend more money and time deleting that garbage that makes the bike sound like a shitty jetsons car.

While yes it's just a pipe. And no it is not a 20lbs weight savings, more like 8lbs, still good though. 25HP would be a 16% gain and no it is not doing that. Maybe with some major tuning but that might come at the expense of an enjoyable power band. If you see it in person you will notice that it is very well made, internal baffle is slick. The craftsmanship is top notch. Also, it was under $600 delivered. I looked at some pipes for $1000 that were just okay. Of course, there is also some personal preference here. This produces a particular sound. And it is loud when you open it up, otherwise very livable. I guess the term insane was based on my personal preferences not click bait. I love the tone, that it's clean, no giant can hanging off the side.

You can get the link pipe from black widow exhausts to remove the valve, since you are not using it any more. It's saves a little weight
And, of course, we need a fly by with the engine screaming above 10k rpm 😁

And I doet have that problem either. Maybe let a different tuner tune the bike
