The Nix hate is astonishing. Smart decision maker, accurate on the run, CAN improvise, read the field well, hard worker that overcame adversity, can go deep where needed, some football fans seem to think that if your name isn't Brady or Manning you can't win consistently. Stoked to have someone that turned it around and showed they could grow and improve.
Nothing personal on the kid but if you look the deep throw get hanging time and most of the times gets behind the receiver, kind tua when throwing to hill and he has to adjust, also at 24 I hope he has room to grow but he won’t have the commodity to wait couple years and develop… ran a run-first offense in Oregon is going to take time to adjust to nfl in terms of speed I just hope we didn’t let talent got away because of a reach

I never liked duck. It was way too greasy. I tried it once in Vegas thinking it would taste like pheasant, and yeah, not even close. Not sure how people can eat that stuff. But to each their own

This guy has an elite understanding of defense, both pre - and post snap. He is very athletic as both a out of pocket thrower and a situational runner. From the pocket, he is really good with timing and rhythm in the short and intermediate game and has an underrated deep ball. I really like the player and the pick. Now I am a Broncos fan. Let's go!

@@craigstark2712 I mean Drew Bree’s and Wilson was the same height so it wasn’t really Wilson not being able to see it’s just something he never was comfortable with and never worked on a solution like Bree’s did by doing the head tilted up and having a side step to create the lane and throw the ball. Russell just drops his head soon as he sees pressure n starts running around but his legs are no longer quick enough to run around without getting sacked due to his inability to create separation from those DLinemen and backers anymore. He was never going to work under sean Payton because he’s never going to stay in the pocket and let the natural play develop so he missed tons of wide open guys running wide open from great plays drawn up. I wish him the best though and I hope he’s not cut n beat out in Pittsburg smh

As a Broncos fan all my life I am ecstatic with this pick. Denver has not had much luck with first round quarterbacks and have relied on free agents and trades. Jake Plummer. Kyle Orton. As for the draft, Tim Tebow in the first round. Horrible pick and quarterback. Jay Cutler and Paxton Lynch, that's it. I'm glad they finally did it, probably gun shy from the Lynch fiasco. Nix is mobile, good arm. Thrilled he is a Bronco

Statistically, Caleb threw more screens this year than Nix. Nix also had a 71% completion percentage on non-screen passes while Caleb's was 62%
From what I can see Caleb is the more flashy player, his play style puts people in mind of Mahomes. Where as Bo is more a Drew Brees quick out, check down, screen and running play to open up the occasional deep ball kind of player(which is why i'm excited about SP getting hold of him).Will be fun to see them both play on Sundays thats for sure....the thing that confuses me is everyone gets on Bo's age....he is 24! its not like he is Brandon Weedon!!! Or even Stetson Bennet(who I think was 25 when the Rams took him).
