this thing is easily as cool as it looks, completely easy to set up and works as it's supposed to. I had one for about a month and created a miniature halloween installation that made my door yell at kids when they stepped on the mat, a water synthesizer, a drum kit, another little art installation, blah blah. i really really want to own one again.

Very cool this. Here at university they sometimes give projects to play with the Arduino, which is a lot of fun. I reckon that the Makey makey is something the students can get more engaged with, keeping in mind that engineering students are mostly male and know their way with gaming.

Your channel has a massive viewership. If you cover things like Arduino (simple things, not too technical, there are other channels for that), coding etc. many more people would be likely to pick up such interests. I know many of your viewers would prpbably already know a lot of these things, but a lot of people are here just for some cool moblie phones and laptops.
It would be neat for a short development / hacker board series. The majority of them are super cheap and you can do a lot with them. You could do basic home automation like back to the future with thumb print locks and lights that come on when you enter a room and go off when you leave. Or a crazy home network that would give you a computer in the kitchen for when your cooking, a screen behind a bathroom mirror that displays your news and weather while getting ready. There all sorts of ideas out there, and when a development / hacker board is $30 and a used monitor is $20 no reason not to try it.

MORE MAKERY THINGS PLZ. Nixie tubes, motors, screens, raspberry pi's and single board computers, all of those things would be amazing on this or a subsidiary channel.
While you're at it, look into the spark core. It's literally an arduino, but the IDE is on their website and you can reprogram it wirelessly. It comes with wifi built-in out of the box as well, and you can control individual IO pins from an android app, also out of the box.
Finally something worthing watching on this UA-cam channel!

Animation is okay, The song is complete shit.
I could see this being used as a great edition for e sports type games because you could set up feet pads for additional buttons so you don't have to move you hand away from important keyboard positions

A cool idea (something which I've tried, and absolutely does work) is to make an arcade stick and try playing a fighting game with it. Once you figure out the proper mapping it's really fun to play with and works surprisingly well!

Full Home automation. As automated as possible. Link it up to lights, heating, xbmc, do some fun stuff like the musical stairs, etc. How automated and networked can you make an entire home with the Makey Makey?
