I love these watches, an elegant tool watch that I think would be surprisingly versatile. The Panova Grey has been on my wish list for some time.
Just bought the Red. Can’t stop looking at it. It’s something else 😍
Love the Muhle blue Mare, great brand.
Muhle Glashutte is a fine German watchmaker which is severely underrated and slightly overpriced. Once they start introducing in house movements in their entry level watches like Nomos and Glashutte Original do, they will be ready for prime time and high price will be justified. Another good example is Damasko. They run parallel lines with ETA and in house options and sell their movements for a higher price… However Muhle Glashutte could represent a substantial value at the secondary market.
I must disagree. There are a lot of swiss brands that use simply the SW200 and cost more then a lot of Mühle watches. Also these watches have some modifications that makes them not a direct copy of the SW200. Wile other Watchmakers are just outsourcing them without any meaningfull modifications.
In my opinion the watch is in a better price position then many other brands.
Will Mühle Glasshütte make its own movements?
they should be 50-60% cheaper lol
@@Swiss_Army_Knife1780 I think so. Their SAR and pilot uses a modified ETA/Sellita movement. Something about the neck is more robust with better shock protection than the standard ETA/ Sellita workhorses.
Their mechanical movements are also in house these days.
Met the ceo recently. Wonderful guy and cool pieces. Thanks teddy
Hi Teddy. Another interesting watch, love the dial colours, not sure I can pull off the colours though.
You said in the video that you’d swap out the NATO strap pretty much straight away, but not to what (unless I missed it??). Would you go for a bracelet, or leather strap instead??
Great video again! Thank you! I own a couple of watches that are just as bold in color as these, but nowhere near the cost! If I were to spend that much, I would rather have it look the part!
Love the Red ♥️
A certain Mr Wonderful would love that red dial!
Love the turquoise dail, hope Mhule develop a 38 mm version of the panova line.
Bonitos Relojes. 🤩🤩⌚️⌚️
That red dial is striking. On my list.
I love green dial one with a leather nato strap. In Europe it got 20% more expensive recently, unfortunately..
You are right, it went from 1000 euro’s to 1200. I tried the blue Panova on and I liked it, but 1200 is a bit steep (lets not forget that it doesn’t come on a bracelet as well which adds cost to other watches)
Muhle is a very decent brand. Lots of other brands too buy third-party movements like Sellitta but they do minimal changes on them. Unlike Muhle, who does upgrade the regulator parts inside the movement, entirely, and regulate the watches properly, on top of the quality visual upgrades. Every brand should do that, but that is want differentiates from good watches from bad watches.
Love German watches. Sinn too.
Love German watches💯✅🤙🏻☘️
Just in case you want to borrow an Ü. ;)
Teddy 🧸 how about the anthem today?
and the red one on the wrist??
I kind off like them, but 1000 seems way to expensive for what they are.
They're 1200 now.
Unfortunately, like all German watches, this is very nice quality watch but too expensive for what it is
yep lol no thanks
It costs 1200€ in Europe.
Do a couple watch
Shouldn't 'Made in Germany' be in German?
I noticed that as well. In the German language, Germany is called "Deutschland" So are they making some watches that are designed to go to English speaking countries only?
It is common for German products of all Kinds to have „made in Germany“ in English.
Lol 1000$ more like 100-200
1k way too expensive for something you can build yourself and you can get those types of dials all day long...I'd rather buy a Hamilton or Longiness
Longines uses basic ETA movements for similar prices. Why are they better?
@@Hans-Georg_Buddnedoesn't the Longines have an 80 hour power reserve?
@@almac9203 Yes, but only because they Slow down the beatrate from 4 to 3 Hz. The motion of the seconds Hand looks much better at 4 Hz, so many people prefer that over the power reserve.
Unpopular Opinion: Most of these German watches are boring as fuck.
Especially these basic shaped cases. Slapping a colourful dial on them does nothing to save how boring and uninspired the rest of their design is.
Nomos, ALS, GO and a few others do some interesting things with some of their watches but it feels like almost every other German watch is just the same old basic design and just so damn boring.
Boring??? that is like saying Germans have no sense of humour!
They should take a page from G Seiko and be inspired by the Alpine Forests and Golden Lagers.
