I haven't used the AF feature with this setup as I always use manual focus and settings etc for my film shoots. But technically if the lens has AF and the adapter has the electronic communication that AF should work.
@@JoelWallis Thank for the response! I figure i'd only manual focus as well, but sometimes usual to h ave a starting point by tapping to focus to save a bit of time
Great video I would like to know your opinion I'm deciding between this Z Cam E2 and Blackmagic Pocket 4k the Z Cam E2 looks more easier to build a cinema rig it's like a mini RED It is very compact thanks, greetings from Mexico
Thanks man! Both are great cameras. I personally think the Z Cam E2 is an easier camera to rig up and has a better battery feature over the bmpcc4k. I like the color and menu with the bmpcc4k but wish it could shoot 4K @160 fps. I would go with the one that best fits your needs and you won’t be disappointed 😁.
@@JoelWallis thank you very much I'm almost decided by this Z Cam E2 I'll be attentive to more videos around this camera maybe about Zraw , Live Streaming Ethernet or autofocus on native lenses thanks for answering I hope the successes continue great channel
do more tests with this camera to show camera image and do comparing tests with Pocket 4K camera side by side, the same test with any red camera, with GH5 and Canon 5D mark IV, but more important is to show this camera image real quality - real time 24-25fps and with 4K 50-150 fps slow motion tests.
Awesome to see that you guys at the dve store showcase your merchandise... Oh yeah, I just purchased my E2 from you guys through Amazon. Thanks 👍👍👍
Rock on! Thanks Edison! If you have any questions about the camera or need anything please feel free to hit me up!
Hey ! is the ois working on the canon lens with z cam ?
Curious It works pretty good.
Great video! Does this mean the sigma 18-35a dapted won't have autofocus at all (via iphone app)?
