I finished installation of mine and everything was working fine. It was charging everything was good and then later on in the day when I went to plug it into charge again I use the iPhone charging block, plugged it in and now there’s no LED indicator of it charging I can’t tell if it’s charging or not anyone know what the issue is.?
@hand held legend , mine stoped showing indication for charging idk if it’s charging, still powers gameboy, i had it less than 12hrs when it stopped, was charging just fine at first, how do i get a new cable to test if its the cable or the unit
how long does it take to charge? I just installed mine, have it plugged in right now, I have a blue light for the past hour or so, unplugged to turn on, but nothing happened. Does it need a full charge to operate?@@devinmh9125
With a stock Gameboy? About 7-8hrs if it's 1800mah like he stated. The thumbnail shows a 2000mah battery, so I'm not sure. I know 2 2800mah Energizer Max batteries last about 24 hours. If it's a drop-in backlit screen, then more like 6. Probably close to 4 with a larger ips
@@jaredd9206AA batteries 1.5v @ 2800mAh are 4.2Wh capacity each, x2 for a total of 3v @ 2800mAh, or 8.4Wh. However, their voltage drops off a cliff as they drain and your devices die before they can be fully used. A 3.7v lithium @ 1800mAh has 6.66Wh capacity. Lithium also holds voltage better deeper into discharge. It should maybe last as long.

Darn I have the clean power regulator and the original power regulator. I’m wondering if it’s worth a shot 😂 1/25/23 Update: I made it work with the retrosix clean power mod. I just stacked it on top of the clean power mod, got the solder to flow through to the proper soldering points, and did some trimming on the inside of the back half of the shell. Works like a charm.
Just ordered mine !
I have the retrosix clean power and the clean led buttons and it always displays "red" 'low battery' LEDs can someone tell me why?
Same here.

Possibly a physical connection issue? Maybe a weak solder joint?
@ it was a bad unit that was sent to me. They replaced it

What kind of play time do you get with this?

@jaredd9206 dont worry G, i care😎
@Hand Held Legend Can you do this mod if you have a cleanamp pro installed?
0:32 he explained it here if i’m not mistaken.
Oh i think it’s something different what he explained but maybe it still helps lol
When the LED turns blue, does that mean it is fully charged?
Yes
Does this work with IPS and other mods?
It does work with IPS screen kits.
@@customfantasyhotwheelsand how long the battery stills charged? 4h? 6h?

I’ve seen mods where the old Power Regulator was taken out and the Clean Power was put in its place and it still works. Going to give it a try myself
