- Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart: 6 Ländlerische Tänze, K.606
No. 3 in Bb major (transposed to C major)
This is a charming simple ländler dance in 3/4 time, written by Mozart in 1791, shortly before his death. The original was written for two violins and bass, where the bass part for this movement is simply a sustained drone alternating between C and G (in my transposed key). For my recording, I am playing this as a mandolin duet, with the drone played on concertina.
1915 Luigi Embergher mandolin (x2)
Jackie English concertina
I love this. I would love the tab. I have been following you for a bit. Love your playing and mandolin. Lovely instrument.
