Its so nice to see a young man and his mom getting along... Yall are blessed..
😱 I loved my sun sensation Barbie doll, so many memories... OMG I feel ancient 🤣
Wow, I relived my childhood through those brands!! 🤣🤣 Awesome find!
That chick that owned the stuff was a shop-a-holic!! Lucky her.You have made your $540 back umpteen times over! Lucky YOU!
You just made me feel old LOL Every time you said "vintage" and you pulled out something from my childhood....I felt old. LOL "back in the day" also did it. LOL
Box 5 the cedar hanger you hang in you closet to keep moths away from your clothes
Hi Wade, my name is Rose Miller, I am 77 years old. I have been watching your shows for a while now, and I really love watching you guys.
I wush that I could afford to get the new. Baby girl stuff from you for my worker. She is so special to me. She is expecting her 4th baby. She is due to have a C- section on the 25 of this month if she carries her that long.
I can't stretch my Social Security check and farther or I would go buy those things for her.
I live in Illinois , I love seeing your wife and mom on your shows, and would even love to have them on my friend list. I enjoy chatting with new friends.
I LOVE YOU GUYS.
Wade love watching, you and your wife and grandma. She's a character
Some of the comments crack me up thinking the storage unit owner, had all contents in a boutique for sell or something. I did not think this was a huge amount of clothes or shoes for someone over the age 50 to own it's a normal amount of material items for a 1 person household. Most people were not minimalist 20 yrs ago and it seems as though the owner was still shopping in the 21st century so far nothing over 50 yrs old and shopped at discount retailers Stein Mart Marshalls TJMaxx ! You got a great deal on this unit and will make your money back plus some!
Vintage sells no matter what it is and graphics on old itoms not open make it worth more you found a wonderful score grate job 💐💐💐💐
Love how he says they are cool little hat they must live in the South. We (way up here in Canada) would call them “Touques” What a fun opening!!! Excellent job guys.
Today I was knitting and set up my phone to watch U-Tube, my only visual source of electronic entertainment at home. I punched in to watch the haul from a storage unit as I rent 2 myself. I image the box of paperwork on bankruptsy will put more of the human story to this find. And thanks for being respectful about a persons lost property and attachments.
I 💝 hearing your narration of this persons items uncovered. Your familys involvement in all the fun of opening suprise boxes. The fact you enjoy what your doing makes listening and seeing entertaining.
One day recently my daughter was driving with me and saw that I had attached a cute little lawn ornament like a hedge hog smiling happily to the dash board. She cringed and said "You're one of those people."! Yes I am. And that's why I enjoy the hunt and discovery in all aspects of life. Thank you for sharing your enthusiasm.
Love the vintage Dr Scholl’s. The wood was actually comfortable. They were a fave in the 70s.
i wonder if they still make them. if they don't make them anymore those shoes are probably going to have some great resale value.
You made your money back on the Barbies alone. The Kewpie dolls are a remake of an old early 20th century doll, and are also worth good money. So the rest of both of those units is pure gravy for you. Good job! (and I agree with another commenter here - give the sewing stuff to your mom. I sew, and you can never have enough sewing supplies, fabric, yarns (for we knitters)... :)
Gramma knows more than you think I'm an old Gramma. 🤗
I never get bored listening to you and grandma. And it’s nice hearing that little cutie in the background! Sounds like he’s having fun with grandma! And she and I love seeing what you get out of those boxes!
Your Mom is a natural comedian, keep her in your videos, too funny, wow, she makes the best of everything you show, not one piece of junk to her, haha
Maybe when you are doing an unboxing of what you know is clothes you might want to have a clothing rail to hang them on with all the stuff on hangers. Hey they even gave you extra ones so use them. Also if you had the racks you could have the tagged and bagged separated from the untagged. Just a little suggestion.
Give Grandma Venture whatever she wants or needs. She works hard helping you.
I love the precious moments doll.
I love your mom. LOL
I enjoyed your video. I used to do this with my son. Good times and found treasures.
That's a cute little fella you got working behind you there the show is starting my great-granddaughter turn to today that's the precious age
Love seeing your family all together and including your mom. You have no idea how nice that is.
Next time remember 9 West is a very good brand. When I worked I wore 9 West shoes every day. They were high end every day shoes and bags.
Your mom is so cute and so supportive!! Great video Wade. Thanks for showing us your treasures!!
Denise's Picks I totally agree! She has something kind to say about everything! What a sweet soul.
Your mom sounds like my husband and kids when I get home from a haul😂 I listen to them say; oh wow, I like that, daaang... as my haul goes from three bags to one bag I can list! Gotta love the fam😁😁❤❤
hahahaha yes! you know Melissa! yes gotta love fam!
Who else thinks this is as exciting as watching kids opening their Christmas gifts.
At 1:24:05 you have a box with some vintage miniature xmas bottle brush trees in it. Those are quite collectible.
When I worked at salvation army and checked bags the beat up bags had the most hidden money
I love how you think of your Mom too give her stuff. It shows how much you love her. What a good son you are
Thanks Wade for being very patient and going through all the boxes and taking the time to share with all of us your mom is very cool and awesome and fashionable😁😁😊😊👌👍
WOw. Shopaholic hoard. Made me want to clean out my house and sell whatever I'm not using.
A lot of nice brands you have in the clothing I used to buy. For instance: Chaus, Evan Picone, Carole Little (?) - I used to purchase from Macy's. Bandolino, Van Eli, Aigner Etienne, Enzo.... All these shoe brands are usually Italian leather, I've gotten from Nordstrom's. Cool haul!
A total joy to watch you it's as if we're all they're wanting to put our hands in every box or bag you open.
You're truly a tonic to put a smile on anyone's face, and I love it when your Mum's there too. From the UK
Aunt Ashley and grandma you rock and your promoted
The block you had was made of cedar. You hang it in your closet to prevent moths from eating clothes.
The wooden sandals are Dr Scholl's, which were very popular in the late '70s and early '80s.
Also very comfy
I had a pair and about broke my neck on them after getting caught in a downpour and going downstairs. I went left, shoes went right, both ankles went over.
Lois G. Yeah, I wore those in the early 80's.
The vintage Orcis jacket was fantastic
Barbies that eyes that look to the side instead of straight ahead are some of the first and are quite valueable. Just thought id pass that along to you
Love your videos! It’s like Christmas Day for resellers!
awww!! thanks Heather!
The glass you showed and said was a desert glass is actually a Champagne glass. They didn't state making Champagne flute glasses until early 70s. Look at wedding pictures from 40s & 50s and you'll see people make toasts with them. Your thinking of Sorbet bowls. The stem is shorter and they sit lower.
Loved the foot stool
Hi Wade Hi Ashley Hi Grandma Ventures and hi to your kids
Hey once you find a comfortable shoe to work in all day...You buy it in every color available to match your suits.
Jadit....True!
The wooden sandals are old Dr. Scholls and they were very comfortable.

You guys are funny back then too, I don’t care for auctions so I came to one of your videos I hadn’t seen. I still think you all are awesome peoples !
Glad to know Ashley and Mom are there. They make the video.🙂🙂🙂🙂👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼🦋🦋
I’m the Barbie person. Those are called ‘pink box’, from the 80’s, somewhat worthless, sorry. Boxes are trashed, which doesn’t help. Now, if you had a Barbie that said 1959, Japan on the butt.....you’re in the money. But condition is everything with these dolls. I bought and sold the vintage Barbies for over 20 yrs. Gimme a holler if you need help on ID’s ‘n such, glad to help! Nice haul!! 👍🏻👏🏻
One of the first things you found was a plastic box labeled "2000 Bankruptcy"... I can see why she went bankrupt!!!
Wow never ceases to amaze me what people hoard. But it is your treasure now. Awesome hope you make loads of cash
I loved watching the anticipation opening each box ❤️
J Jill is a popular woman’s brand. If. You search those on eBay you’ll find a lot of her clothing they are nice!
Dude you probably have a lot of product that isn’t made anymore and are probably hot on eBay! People like a product then they stop making them. Sweet! You’re mom is so funny, she loves everything!
yes Jennifer! I need to get some of those clothes on ASAP just so much to list haha
Wades Venture ya that is overwhelming!!!
The wooden shoes ( Dr Scholl's)were really pretty comfortable. Believe it or not! Lol
By your 4th or 5th box , I think you made you money back. That was the nearest packing job I've ever seen.
same here Sharalee! love your name BTW
I had a pair of those wooden clogs whrn i was a little girl and loved them!! So comfy!!
I used to work for May Co. in the mid 80s in Torrance, CA, I use to sell a lot of Evan Pecone hosiery and shoes, in the department I worked at. It was a popular name brand “back in the day” 😉 ... A lot of women with money use to buy Evan Pecone merchandise from clothes to accessories
what a great unit for you guys. Wish we had things like that here in Australia. I don't think it was a lot of stuff if she was an older woman, clothes back then were made to last a lifetime.
You scored a shopaholic hoarder’s storage unit. Most brands were things that were mail-order catalog brands, or TV shopping. They kept everything so nice, but it’s no wonder there were bankruptcy papers. It was a female who sat at home and shopped and then admired all of her purchases, but couldn’t possibly wear them all. She probably lost her home first and packed everything so nicely with the belief she’d get it resolved and into a new place. Actually very sad, as we’re looking at the reason someone lost everything.
yep, or some one that had a store..but the hoarder theory seem's correct...or could of been a jobber that bought out of bizz stores for resale.
Thresa I absolutely agree with you. I recognize all the signs. NOT SHOPLIFTING!!! WOW....!!!!
She shopped a lot at TJ Max, Marshall’s and Ross. Those stores don’t sell online
I agree. My original thought was this was someone who had to buy for satisfaction and purpose. Sad story, and I will not watch any further. On the other and, I think she would be happy that much of it will be put to good use. That is what I try to do with my country auction buys.... they were someone's pride and joy.
Yes, I go to consignment auctions in Southern Illinois. They are fun. One has homemade grub.. pies and such. They sell produce there at times, maybe even baked goods. One of the main places started charging a buyer's fee which I think is wrong, but they have tons of stuff and I filled my house with sale items. The people who run it are loaded and I dislike pouring more money into their coffers. Where do you go to the auctions?
Looks like the late 80's to 90's
Professional mid range clothes
Thanks Rose! :)
I also saw clothes that were even more recent. Those Sears brands are around 2005 or so, I think. I used to work for Sears.
Those wooden sandals in box 11 are from the early 90's, I believe. My mother and grandmother wore them all the time when I was little. They're surprisingly comfortable, if they fit your foot properly. 😊 Takes me back... Lol
You have a lot of awesome things there. The barbies are worth a lot. The clothes will get you good pay and so will the shoes. Many things you will have to ask a pro collector about prices so that you can get your money worth. The barbies will sell for an awesome price. I do love that purse from the bath store you showed at the beginning of your film it is just right. Those Eddie Bower items are expensive. The clothes will get you a lot of money. I know that putting all items on display nice and neat, you will get a good profit because the dolls and the Bower clothes will get you a lot. Take care and blessings to you and your family.
Make sure to show the dresser That's what Peaked my interest, and was hoping it was going to be in this video. I subscribed and clicked the bell so I won't miss the next one. P.S. you need to put that Gilligan hat on you boy I was half way expecting you to when you turned around and set it with the rest. I bet he'd look cute in it. Looks like you got you a real helper there.
haha, David thank you for being supper positive, I will make sure to give you an update video with whats in the dresser and other stuff!
People staging a set for a film set in a certain era will buy vintage kleenex, as well as other vintage products.
oh that is such a great suggestion! i agree!
Good call
Love the kitten heel on those shoes...that's a low heel. When you need to wear heels and have to walk or stand on your feet along time...You wear these. Another professional attire item to go with your suits.
Wade, you are funny. I like your sense of humor and Mom is adorable.
Person had a shopping obsession and was a hoarder!!
Peggy Cook She probably had a lot of money and a great career and a big walk in closet. Some people buy a lot but might still have a neat and organized home.. look how well packed everything was, neat and organized well. Hoarder sounds like someone who had a dirty home but hey, it was this persons choice and apparently could afford a lot, and this person was probably elderly and kept a lot through the years, you can’t judge someone just because they have a lot, at least everything was well taken care of and not dirty or smelly. Looks like she took pride in her clothes and everything she owned .
The bag you showed around the 15:15 mark with the cats on the front I believe is a Laura Birch print. Most of those are retired, possibly worth some$$
I will need to take a close up and make sure I hope it is!!!
I misspelled her name it's Laura Burch. The ones listed on eBay go from $20 to $45. Best of luck.
@@m_n_mplus8crazycats786 Laurel Burch created this bag.
Hi Wade I watched the beginning of this playlist to now I am watching it right now I would have commented on the last couple of videos but it was not available I think they were all cool great job
Grandma should get Oscar👍👍👍👍👍💐
love the conversations with your mom!
I want to buy all the makeup😍😁I love listening to your mom. She makes me laugh.. good luck with your find. It is all so cool..
Exactly like mine and I've had it for many years, poached and boiled. 🤗
Working Out Barbie and baton twirling Stacie awesome
Coldwater Creek clothing is expensive clothing and so is J Jill clothing. They both have catalogs which I’ve gotten in the mail. The wooden sandals are Dr. Schols sandals from the 70’s and would be considered vintage now. I had a pair and loved them. I don’t know much about perfumes but I do know that Chanel perfume is worth $100’s of dollars per ounce if you have any of that. You keep showing clothing tags in the video but the camera is not focused so that I can read them. You’re definitely going to get your money back and then some for this storage unit. Can’t wait to see the next video.
your mom kept me entertained she luvss everything.!!! like when she excited.
Enjoy your success but remember those less fortunate
I absolutely love the way you and your mom interact! That’s what the world needs more of :) great video and haul
Yes at home, make sure mom+ wife are there. They are so funny!
At 44:31 that is a kewpie doll, just like the one you showed earlier in the video that was in a box. Depending on the age, some can be worth a lot of money.
looked like it to me too,,
hey Rosie! Yes, it was a 2000 one. on the back of the box it had a really cool Storie. :)
it was ;)
I mentioned the kewpie above aswell haha.. my mother inlaw as had hers since she was young she just turned 56 I think.. she has two but unsure of how old the 2nd one is as she brought it somewhere else. Her original one is with us for my eldest daughter
Really cute dress on the last doll.
My grandmother had "Aigner" brand purses and shoes.
And they weren't cheap ;)
Yes, they were part of the Jonathan Logan Sportswear brands. Takes me back in time. I loved them, the Aigner shoes and purses were my trademark in the '70s and '80s
In 77 now but always loved dolls
The original Workout Barbie is a great find i forgot how much it is on eBay
Stuff made in Japan is vintage, prob from 1950, 60, don't know bout earlier for I was born in the 50's. Later made in Japan stopped and made in China started and still going today.
LOL I just found you on YT today and you had me hooked with the 1st video of this unit now it like a soap opera so stay tuned tomorrow for more adventures of the Unclaimed for Years VINTAGE Storage Unit I Bought Haul Video
haha thank you so much for the info! I love learning more so many things out there to understand with vintage and other items hah
Me too. Randomly popped up while I was making a cup of tea, now subscribed and just about to watch part 3.
I'm obsessed with watching these videos... thank you
that ting with the belts was a cedar thing to hang with clothing to keep moths away
WOW.. I have like 15 of those, I would have had no idea! thank you, Always learning!
@@WadesVentures You can actually refresh those cedar blocks with a very light wipe of cedar oil if need be as well ^.~
What size are, and what do you want for the two red ....I think they are jackets or sweaters at 1:29:11 ?? and the red plaid jacket a little later? The one with the black lace trim on the collar?
Hi Grandma V the wooden sandals are original Dr scholls they were really comfortable and the only things I could wear when I was pregnant I love seeing what you will find next I’m watching from the UK .xx
I love mystery un-boxing videos, you guys seem.nice, too...keep it up!!!
The footstool with the light colored solid top and wooden legs is very old...the flat head screws are a good indicator of age. I once went to a thrift sale that had about four different old foot stools like that and one looked almost identical to yours. If I remember correctly, I paid $5 and sold it on Ruby Lane for $75. One footstool with wooden legs and a tapestry top I sold for over $100. Footstools are excellent sellers even today.
Vivki!!! GREAT INFO! But mom stolen it so I won't make anything other then her happy :)
Oi
Did you not once think it could be vintage shop STOCK!
I mean how many people keep that many tags on clothes they bought.
IT'S OBVIOUS it is shop stock items
I love how you treat your mother!!!!
The wooden sewing box is worth something, I have one exactly like it that was handed down to me from my great great grandma, it was one of the things she brought from Germany when she had to flee.
A good test for the shoes before you try & sell them is to bend them almost in half at the sole to make sure the sole doesn’t crack in half. Soles of shoes in storage tend to dry rot and you can’t tell just by looking at them. This will save you some grief in returns if you’re going to resell them.
Millie Marky So true! I bought some shoes on eBay. They looked great. Beautiful leather. Tried them on and the whole sole fell off! It was so sad and frustrating. The selling said they’d refund only what I paid not the shipping. Ha! She refunded every dime I paid and shipping.
The things/shoes with the A on them are Agner brand. Worth a whole lot more than $500!
Except none of the shoes in the Etienne Aigner boxes, were Aigner. Many of the shoes were in different boxes. Also, I really hope you pack those shoes correctly when you ship them. I saw you shoving them in where the heel was rubbing the toe of the other shoe. Soles/heels go out, otherwise it can ruin the other shoe in the pair. Good Luck.
I love your videos but it's hard to watch you yank open those zippers like that. They stop working after doing that enough.
This has been a blast to watch!
I always wore Dr. Scholls shoes as a teen. Loved them.
Just love you and your mom,,,your mom and I say a lot of the same comments at the same time we must be close in age lol You have another great storage buy,,you deserve it your a sweet person the world is sending you well deserved karma, am anxiously awaiting the jewelry you found and wondering what was inside the large piece of furniture that was wrapped up. Grats! :)
Mary Harris 🌸me too!🌸
@@annettehunt8305 Me three!!!!!
Playmobil sells very well for retired sets. You called them Lego. They are made in Germany.
I would guess this person had their home burn down and had to replace most of their stuff.
cracking me up. wade is serious about a wicker sliver in his finger, but in the back round we still hear you gals talking about the threads and sewing finds lol.
That last doll in with the Barbies looks like a "Precious Moments" doll. This is very interesting to watch.
Your going to have to read out the brand names cause your camera doesn't focus fast enough. Decent video though and REALLY good finds.
I agree...it did not focus well when you held things up to be read...and that one really embroidered or embellished piece, you did not hold it up so I could not tell if it was a jacket, skirt, dress or what. Just if you would say, blouse, skirt, suit, jacket, etc, would help...and the brand names. I wanted to know, like your mom, what brands the cologne and perfume were. You did great though...really!!!
