HI Wade, my name is Kristin and I have been watching you non stop for about a month and I finally JOINED!! Can't wait to see the store and live auction. Your family is great. I love the videos.
It really is about more than money made. The thrill of the hunt, the satisfaction of the find even the workout and the research. We all need the money to live, but loving what you do is really priceless. I, myself, would find a boring job just lifesucking and there have been times I had no other options so I get it...still I’d go without a lot of luxuries to not hate what I do.
As an ex-landlord, this looks like the remains of a fast move-out or eviction.. Someone threw everything left in the apartment into whatever boxes or bags that were left behind and dumped them into a storage unit. The owners never claimed the stuff left behind.
There were some interesting items in the unit but I agree that buying a unit like that means a great deal of time and work. I loved the plush toys and they were in great condition, it looked to me as if that was packed up in a hurry. Good luck with it all Wade and Ashley, love and hugs to you all and God bless you. Please say hello and love to Grandma Ventures for me Mary-Ellen UK
Pretty good for a one dollar locker. Like you said it will take work to make the profit out of it, but for those people who have the time and patience it is a good buy. They would also need a good sense of what will and won't sell very well. A good teaching unit.
Congrazzles.. been buying cheeper ones for years.. gotta keep in my budget..going thru 4 units I got Tuesday, for a total investment of $11.. have fun.. :)
OMG, I personally would not mind the work of going through a cheap locker. I saw so much that could be sold at a flea market or garage sale. It's crazy what people will buy.
Hi Wade and Ashley I think you made your 1dollar back with the first thing you pulled from the unit the suitcase on wheels you could get more then 10dollars for it we need more videos from you none members like to watch too love to Grandma and the boys stay safe bye from Aussie land 🥰👍
The first bag (I mean the bag itsef) 3:34 that you picked, is already more than a $1. Glad that you wear glove for this unit. Please check the type of raw purple stone in that pendant 23:01. If it is not ameythst, it could be something more expensive like Tanzanite, Kunzite..etc? As for the green pendant 23:15, it could be anything like moss agate or aquamarine. Get someone with gemstone knowledge to verify them.
hi wade. I've been catching up on your videos and both you and grandmaventures make me laugh. I'm on social security for mental health disabilities and the main ones is anxiety and bipolar depression and I also have a learning disability, ADD. (I can't work at a regular job, which the social security administration suggested I work from home.) I explained I've been interested in getting into storage buying and reselling online doing my own auctions and if it was legal for me to do being on SSI and not allowed to file taxes. I waited almost a week and a representative from the social security branch in new castle, PA where I live explained that me getting into the storage auction business from home was legal and completely fine and he suggested I start it out as a hobby first to get into it slowly, but I'm not allowed to sell on 3rd party sites for example, (eBay and Amazon. poshmark he's not sure on.) I'm allowed to sell locally as in tag sales or garage sales, sell in a local fb site, and sell by doing my own auctions online and they wouldn't be able to count the money I would make because I'm working from home nor would I have to file taxes and my SSI checks wouldn't get cut down. he did say if I gotten the hang on it and I wanted to switch from hobby to work and want to get my own warehouse, then I would have to show paperwork of the units I would buy for their records and I would get help with filing taxes, my SSI checks would get cut down a little bit but I would get most from my checks since it's only me doing it. but I still wouldn't be allowed to sell on eBay and Amazon. (the representative said the storage auction business would be additional therapy for me since I see a mental health therapist and I'm on meds for them and my husband can help since he's on SSI also for epilepsy seizures, surgery on his brain from getting 3 tumors removed, and skin cancer twice, he's in intermission now but my husband was okayed to help me move boxes and stuff, but that's it. i haven't started yet because my husband needs surgery done on his shoulder, (he's only going to help pick up things, he's not going in on it with me.) and I have some dental issues to get done. sorry for the short but long story of what was explained to me by the social security representative.
My gorgeous boy I love you Richie!! Don't worry I have some monetary units in your pocket! Please enjoy these things they belong to you and our family!
It made me sad. It's the detrious of our lives. When that was rented, those things were important enough for them to save, yet they seem to be just thrown in. I wonder what happened.
It would need to be it's actually illegal to have a purple heart in your possession or to sell, it's a federal offense, only the person who received it is allowed to have it in their possession or their family if they were rewarded it after their passing.
Do you worry about Bed Bugs in Oregon? Do you have washers and dryers in the shop? I'd be afraid of taking them home. I bet you could make money on the clothes too. Great video! HUGS
I almost forgot, the social security representative told me I can even do my own UA-cam channel for it and do my auctions on UA-cam since it's free. my husband made a website for a paranormal podcast and put up a section for me to sell on, but he's having a hard time figuring out how to set up the cart icon that shows someone buying something. he was having a hard time finding out what online payment method cause he doesn't trust PayPal since he's seen UA-cam videos of people getting hacked, but we heard auction pirate mention venmo or vemno (I have a hard time saying the word.) and he liked it after researching it... again I apologize for the short but long story of what was explained to me by the social security representative. (storage auction pirate, storage stalker, grimesfinds and treasurehuntingwithjebus are in the storage auction business also, but they explain on their videos that they didn't need a course, "it's a learn as you go and people let them know certain things they're not familiar with or heard of." will I need your course to be certified as a storage auction buyer and will it help me down the road for when I feel ready to get my own warehouse and could you give me the link to your course and price? (the storage auction business videos on your UA-cam kind of confuse me. are they the same as your course or different?) also could you and grandmaventures give me a shout out on your next unboxing video? (also, if you find anything in a unit that has for example spell books, you can make money on them. I gave grimesfinds that advice and he did sell them at one of his auctions. how I know about spell books is because I was born a witch and it's part of my religion. I hope you still accept me as a person and a friend. (oh that doll you found in the massive unit of boxes that had weird red hair, it was a very early cabbage patch doll, almost like a blueprint or regret until cabbage patch came out. I think.) horror movies, horror t-shirts and horror figurine items sell too. if you don't know if something is of the horror genre give me a shout out and I'll be able to let you know.
@@janetcooke384 it doesn't say that on the venmo website. if it protects my bank information and my customers info when they buy something and I'm alerted that I got a payment, that's all I care about.
That star wars figure if sold on an auction site cold bring you in around a thousand dollars. I would put all of the star wars stuff in an auction some of it can be worth a lot of money.
Heck, the colored pencils are more than a dollar. Nothing going on poshmark though 🐷oh maybe those star wars cups and $100 on the dressers. Hard work for little reward. Spend more on the units, you are right ☺️
Good morning Ventures family. I have a curious question Wade. As a fisherman Wade do you actually know the difference between a rod and a reel. You keep referring to reels as rods. Not trying to be mean. I am not a fisherman, my husband was a commercial fisherman, but I do know the difference between a rod and a reel. Have a great day.
We have absolutely no storage auctions for 5 hours. Our town has about 80k people but it's fairly remote too. I kinda wanted there to be SOMETHING but maybe I'll think about trying to get into this business when I'm closer to the city.
can you do a video where you show what sold from one particular unit that made that unit profitable, I know you guys make money, just want to see what is selling
Do you buy storage unit at auction, of online auctions, online auctions wants $100 deposit and what you pay for the unit, and you have 3 days to clean it out. I'm not sure yet if you get the $100 deposit back. Just checking. Would like to get unto buying some small units. Thank you for your video.
I've bought a few 1 and 5 dollar units and made some decent money, but they were definitely alot more work. Some good finds in this one and it wasn't too bad. I've bought worse
Am I the only one thinking about what caused this family to store this stuff and then leave it? It looks like they were in a rush and then maybe couldn't pay to keep it? It's sad if that's the case because ya'll just bought their stuff for $1. Not judging you, I just feel sad for the family who lost their stuff, even if others see it as trash.
Yes me to but in all do fairness they did have 30 days to clear all of there stuff out 9f there storage unit.they cloud of got there car or truck and loaded all up and took it back to there home.i find it alot of times some like to see if they can stay longer and not put the effort to even clear out there stuff and then when there time is up they lose it that all on them.i don't mean anny desrespect.but this stuff in this unit alot of it looks like junk I think the old owner of the unit took everything out they wanted and left all of the junk behind. That why it was a dollar they wanted someone else to clean out the unit.
It never ceases to amaze me that people will spend 50 dollars a month and up to store garbage. That's all these units contain, garbage. An expensive unit where someone died makes sense. I'll bet storage buyers wonder once jn a whike
I seen lots of good things! Yeah donate the clothes, only sell the name brand ones & for God’s sake, make the price reasonable or ask for offers. Why buy something used at new prices? Plus buyer pays shipping which can be pricey.

How come you don't introduce your lovely wife Ashley, especially for new viewers ..She is such a great person & does so much!! We love her!!!
I watch every video you put up the good the bad and the ugly hope you’re staying safe can’t wait for more videos
The most valuable part of any unit like this is a day with the wife . It’ll never get better than that .
i love watching clothing hauls...the good the bad and the ugly
I need another storage unit video and unboxing! Grandma where are you?
Congrazzles.. been buying cheeper ones for years.. gotta keep in my budget..going thru 4 units I got Tuesday, for a total investment of $11.. have fun.. :)

Lol. It's like watching a little squirrel going through stuff...🐿️
Selling the dressers was worth it alone . It’s really all about having the space to take your time selling the stuff for a profit with any unit .
You made a good profit just on that first black suitcase.
Evening to you both nice to see have missed watching your videos
The elephant statue is a Ganesha.. A god from the Hindu mythology.
It was a decent unit for a dollar. The type of packing this person did shows they were either in a hurry, or didn't care much about their property.
It is good way for storage owners to get rid of their trash for $1. So cool and great idea.
Smart move 👌
You could donate the blankets to Sam mal rests or a homeless shelter

two of those crystals were GOOD ones
That was depressing thinking that that was at once important to someone.
That's all that I could think of too. Lots of children's items too...
It made me sad. It's the detrious of our lives. When that was rented, those things were important enough for them to save, yet they seem to be just thrown in. I wonder what happened.
The only two items I am interested in are these two Books "Pirateology" & " Fairyoplis" I love books!
WADE, who do you see washing those clothes? This unit curled my toes!
Enjoy Richie! Josh and I placed you there for a reason.
James Patterson books are really good
You hit again Wade 👍💯😀😃🙏💕
I know this is a old 1 I'm trying to watch them all wish they where in order
Seems like a pretty good score. For $1, it's basically free. I'd compare it to trash picking which is kind of like a treasure hunt.
These people were slobs. I have a lot of respect for you that you cleaned up that storage unit.
Thank you for sharing the other side of storage lockers.
Keep safe and well x
I hope medal was returned to the service member or his family .

Love you guys but please slow down. I kinda miss the video's where you showed more and wasn't in a hurry to get through it.
Not bad for a dollar. Stay safe and tell everyone hello.
That star wars figure if sold on an auction site cold bring you in around a thousand dollars. I would put all of the star wars stuff in an auction some of it can be worth a lot of money.

The rock looks like a geode. Hit it with a hammer and it will split and there is crystal in it. They are beautiful.
This is better than storage wars,

Hi! There was a wallet in the first suitcase. Don’t you check stuff like that?
I like your Duck shirt!
Hey Wade we enjoy watching your show. Could you please show us the magic the gathering cards when you find them. You missed a few about 2 months back.
Please please please invest in a light for unboxing in the unit. It is soooo dark in there.
I hope you were able to get the Purple heart back to its rightful family.

I am really curious,,how did u buy this unit fo just a dollar?
You will do good sales..... you should use the inside the truck empty out the bags go threw them that way to show us. Then bag uh up
And you're wearing the correct shirt! lol

Thanks for sharing Venture crew! 👍 Great content!
Please watch for needles!!! I’ve seen many heroin addicts move from place to place and store their belongings in storage units.
Yes that back dresser is solid wood right?
So will some be allotted to a yard sale like that amazing one you had before?
Dyanne Johnson wasn’t that something?
It looks like someone went through the container before you. Bags and boxes were unzipped and not taped even opened. Stuff was disorganized.
Cool unit for a buck!
That knife cut like a spoon
Omg yes! That was driving me crazy

So how long have you and your daughter been buying units?
The shoe boots with the red soles could be Louie boutons.
What about the bag with what it looks to be weed? 😂😂😂😂😂

Not much, 80-100 a truck load
