As far as the China tea cups go....It was the thing to do...Pick a certain type of flower or bird or whatever and collect as many similar ones as possible...They weren't supposed to match.. The variety was the intention.. or so I was taught in the early 1960s by my Auntie! ❤

Those two green boxes of liquor are vintage and sell for about $700, it was bottled in the 60's and 70's. They're not being bottled anymore and are hard to find.😮

Omg that is terrible. I know that if they didn't buy it then someone else would to make money but my heart goes out to the families. Seriously, the further in you get the more I think you should call Sothebys or Christies. Wow, I worry you’ll need the buyers who really know the value and are willing to pay. Yes, I could be wrong because I’ve really don’t know anything. But, would it hurt if they laughed in your face? Plus, you’ve done many of these and this is the first time I’ve thought that!

I have been collecting things similar and different for a certain type of store that I wanted to have after I retired.. but because of the internet? It will never happen... So I will probably pack my things away and put them in a storage locker... and pay ahead for awhile.. Then my cool things will be auctioned off... I agree. I think if you’ve been doing it this long you should know by now about most items you’ve found. I’m on this side of the screen and never bought a storage locker and know more of what he’s got than he does. His wife also knows more than him and he doesn’t trust her opinion or camera skills. He should judge her less and let her do more. It’s frustrating to watch and being with a narcissist for 16 years, some of their interactions are triggering for me. All those artist pieces, very valuable, and you get excited over a tool box full of tools. Amazing. I have a tray with inlayed wood like what you opened. From Hawaii. It has local woods including banyan and You should have a measure tape with so you can immediately say how big something is. The liquor is VERY VALUABLE. Pink depression glass. The cognac does not go bad if it is Not opened!!! The metal bird art is worth $130.00. The toolbox was awesome. I know some mechanics will totally clean all tools when finished. I would hold on to that tool box. Awesome video.

I think the picture/painting was that of the Hale-Bopp comet. That tail would point one way in the AM and the other way in the PM. I just stood there in awe just to see it and think it won't be back for like at least 100 years.

Tea cup china sets were usually for children . My mother was a tea cup collector from childhood . All of her individual cups came from all over the world. A collector usually purchased cups during their travels or were given gifts from friends who traveled. Her British collection was worth thousands of dollars. The same is also noted of plate, vase , bowl collectors.

The black Velvet and Seagram's reminded of the holidays when I was young. My parents only bought whisky at the holidays and these were the winners. My dad love "Seven and Seven" which was Seagram's and Seven-Up. I enjoyed this video

Tea cup china sets were usually for children .
My mother was a tea cup collector from childhood .
All of her individual cups came from all over the world.
A collector usually purchased cups during their travels or were given gifts from friends who traveled.
Her British collection was worth thousands of dollars.
The same is also noted of plate, vase , bowl collectors.

The black Velvet and Seagram's reminded of the holidays when I was young. My parents only bought whisky at the holidays and these were the winners. My dad love "Seven and Seven" which was Seagram's and Seven-Up. I enjoyed this video
